Moto X40 was launched in China on Thursday as a successor to the Moto X30. The handset ships with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 165Hz OLED display, a 50MP triple camera layout, 68W fast charging support, and Android 13 OS. The Moto X40 is expected to launch in India as the Moto Edge 40. Alongside the Moto X40, Motorola also announced the Moto G53 5G. Moto X40, Moto G53 price, availability
The Motorola Moto X40 is priced at RMB 3,399 (approx Rs 40,400) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, RMB 3,699 (around Rs 44,000) for the 8GB + 256GB, RMB 3,999 (around Rs 47,600) for the 12GB + 256GB model, and RMB 4,299 (approx Rs 51,100) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The phone comes in Black and Blue colour options.
Moto G53’s price is RMB 899 (around Rs 10,700) for the 4GB+128GB model and RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,100) for the 8GB + 128GB version.

Powering the phone is an unknown Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable. The phone runs on Android 13-based MyUX custom skin out of the box.
