The brand recently revealed that the two smartphones will launch in India on August 17th and will bring some impressive mid-range specifications, including 5G connectivity. Ahead of the launch event, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion and Motorola Edge 20 price in India have been tipped online. The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be the cheaper of the two phones as it is expected to be a rebrand of the Motoro Edge 20 Lite. According to tipster Debayan Roy, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion price in India will start from Rs 21,499 for the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 8GB+128GB variant is tipped to cost Rs 23,999. The Motorola Edge 20, on the other hand, will be priced at Rs 29,999 for the sole variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Going by these leaked prices, it seems the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will take on the Mi 11 Lite, while the Motorola Edge 20 will compete against the OnePlus Nord 2. Much like any other leak, you should take these Motorola Edge 20 prices in India with a pinch of salt until the official announcement.
The Motorola phones will go on sale on Flipkart and the brand will reveal the first sale date on launch day. The Motorola Edge 20 is being called the slimmest 5G phone in the country at 6.9mm thickness. It is also the first to ship with the Snapdragon 778G chipset and the phone will support 11 5G bands.
The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is said to be a rebadged Edge 20 Lite. The phone was launched with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC, but the model launching in India will reportedly get the Dimensity 800U chipset. The Edge 20 Fusion gets a 108MP triple camera system and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
The more expensive Motorola Edge 20 gets a higher 144Hz refresh rate and a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 778 chipset compared to the Edge 20 Fusion. The phone also gets a 108MP triple camera system and 33W fast charging, but with a smaller 4,000mAh battery.
