The Motorola Edge 30 Pro premium smartphone goes on sale for the first time in India today. The handset debuted in the country last month as one of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones, beating the Samsung Galaxy S22 series by a price difference of over Rs 10,000. It is the rebrand of the Moto Edge X30 that launched in China last year. The new phone comes with an OLED 144Hz display, 60MP selfie snapper, 68W TurboPower fast charging, 50MP primary rear camera, and Android 12 OS. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes only in a single 8GB+128GB storage configuration and will be available to purchase in Cosmos Blue and Stardust White colour options.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro price in India is Rs 49,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The handset will be available via retail stores and Flipkart at 12pm IST. The company is offering a Rs 5,000 discount through an SBI credit card, which brings the price down to Rs 44,999. Jio users get additional benefits worth Rs 10,000 and there is a no-cost EMI option for up to nine months with SBI, ICICI, HDFC, and Axis Bank cards.
To recall, its predecessor — the Motorola Edge 20 Pro — was launched in the country at Rs 36,999 for the same 8GB + 128GB model.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for games. The phone packs 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
It has a decently-big 4,800mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W power-sharing support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 163.06×75.95×8.79 mm and weighs 196 grams. The phone is equipped with an IP52 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, and three microphones.
