The Tecno POVA 6 Pro phone was announced at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona. This is the company’s mid-range offering and comes as a successor to the POVA 5 Pro. We get a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a large 6000mAh battery. The phone also features a Dynamic-Eye Design with a dynamic light effect on the back panel. Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G price
Tecno is yet to announce the price of the POVA 6 Pro but will launch in the Philippines around early March and will make its way to Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. The Tecno POVA 6 Pro will also be available in India shortly.
The phone comes in Comet Green and Meteorite Grey colours.
Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G specifications
- The Tecno Pova 6 Pro sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2436 ×1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency dimming, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification.
- The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 6nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB internal storage, with support for expansion via a microSD card. There’s support for up to 12GB of virtual RAM.
- The Tecno Pova 6 Pro boots Android 14-based HiOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
- Moving to cameras, the Tecno POVA 6 Pro features a 108MP primary camera with an LED flash, a 2MP and an AI lens. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
- The phone will be equipped with an in-display, Dolby Atmos, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack.
- Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with 70W fast charging.
The Tecno POVA 6 Pro features 210 single-point controlled MiniLEDs and these create ring-shaped and propeller-shaped light effects. The comes into effect in 9 situations like calls, power status, and gaming with 101 different user-defined effects. The phone uses Tecno’s first P=NCVM border for a smooth middle frame, and an advanced Lithography Precision Technology texture, which creates a fine yet robust feel and doesn’t attract fingerprints.
There is also a large cooling area of 27342mm and TECNO’s 4D Vibration Sense. Tecno says the phone can be charged even at -20°C and is also operable even at temperatures of up to 60°C.
