The Galaxy S24 series launched globally late last night. The new Samsung flagships come with lots of AI, up to seven years of software updates, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets, and more. Samsung is reportedly working on a tablet as well, and this could be an upgrade to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This new Samsung tablet has been spotted on Geekbench, and here’s what we know about it so far.
Samsung tablet spotted on Geekbench
- 91mobiles has spotted a Samsung tablet with the model number SM-P620. The moniker isn’t revealed yet but judging by the model number it could be from the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite lineup.
- It’s speculated that this tablet could be a successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite or a new 2024 version.
- On Geekbench, the Samsung tablet runs the Exynos 1280 octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 2.40GHz.
- The tablet packs 4GB of RAM and runs the latest Android 14. On Geekbench, it has 930 points in the single-core test, and 1840 points in the multi-core test.
Assuming that this could be an upgrade to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, we would be seeing a refresh after the 2022 edition. This lineup sits between the flagship models, and the budget series of Samsung tablets, and is usually priced under Rs 40,000. It’s still too early to come to conclusions but we’re expecting more information to be revealed soon.
