Nokia XR20 Geekbench listing
As you can see above, the Nokia XR20 manages to net a single-core score of 509 and a multi-core score of 1,455. It is running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset, which is the same one found on other Nokia X series phones. This particular variant has 4GB of RAM and runs Android 11 out of the box. This is all we know about the Nokia XR20 for now. Hopefully, more information about the smartphone should emerge in the coming weeks.
It is hard to determine just what purpose the Nokia XR20 serves in HMD Global’s product stack. The Nokia X20 is a well-rounded smartphone in its own right and those who can’t afford it can always opt for a Nokia X10. Will the Nokia XR20 improve upon the Nokia X20 or water down the specs slightly? We’ve never seen the letter R show up in any of Nokia’s phones, so it’s virtually impossible to guess. It isn’t like Nokia to needlessly complicate its product nomenclature, but that seems to be happening a lot of late, ever since Juho Sarvikas left.
