Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for Phone (2a)

Camera

• Nothing OS 2.5.5 improves the colour saturation in photos and videos.
• In Portrait Mode, the blur accuracy and clarity of the overall photo have been improved.
• The camera app also loads faster with this update.

General improvements

• The software update brings the April month's security patch.
• Nothing claims the Google Assistant wake-up experience will be better now.
• The pop-up animation in the Nothing OS UI will be smoother.
• The gaming performance has also been optimised.
• The general UI smoothness has gotten better.

Bug fixes

• The company has ironed out some compatibility issues with certain third-party launchers.
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection will be more stable.
• The Night Light feature will now work on the lock screen also.
• The overall system will feel more stable with this update. 

How to download Nothing OS 2.5.5 on Phone (2a)

Ensure you back up your phone data before you update it. This is for safe measure if something goes wrong. Also, before installing it, ensure you have sufficiently charged the device. Once you meet these prerequisites, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the Nothing Phone (2a) Settings menu.

Step 2: Next, proceed to System and then tap on System Update.

Step 3: The new version will appear and you can download it.

Step 4: Once it has downloaded, install it. As a part of this process, the device could boot.

Once the lock screen appears, unlock and the device must be running on Nothing OS 2.5.5.
