After leaks and teasers around the device, Nothing has officially revealed the Phone (4b) RCB Edition. The special edition smartphone will be launched alongside the standard Nothing Phone 4b to celebrate RCB’s back-to-back IPL title wins in 2025 and 2026. Nothing was the title sponsor for the Bengaluru IPL team this year.
Unlike previous special editions, the Phone 4b RCB Edition will not see a wider retail release. Instead, it will be available only through a one-day sale at the Nothing Bengaluru Store on July 7th. The standard Nothing Phone 4b will also make its global debut the same day at 3.30 pm IST.
Nothing Phone 4b RCB edition: design and how to get
Nothing has shared official images showing the phone in a matte red finish with an engraved RCB lion logo on the back panel. The industrial design language remains intact, but the rear panel adopts RCB-inspired red accents, making it visually distinct from the standard model, which will come in white, blue and black colour options.
The special edition will go on sale only at the Nothing Bengaluru Store on July 7th. Doors open at 4 PM IST, and the phone will be sold in extremely limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. Nothing has not announced any online availability.
The reveal follows an earlier teaser featuring RCB players Krunal Pandya, Tim David and Romario Shepherd, who hinted at the phone’s redesigned rear panel. While Nothing has not confirmed whether the package includes exclusive accessories or software customisations, limited-edition smartphones often bundle special wallpapers, packaging or collectible items.
Nothing Phone 4b specifications and features
The Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition is expected to retain the same hardware as the regular Phone 4b. Nothing has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, while promising improved efficiency and on-device AI capabilities.
Leaks suggest the Phone 4b could feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, Glyph Interface and the Essential Key. Other expected specifications include up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 16MP front camera, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The global variant is tipped to pack a smaller battery due to regional regulations.
Nothing Phone 4b India price
Nothing is yet to announce the Phone 4b’s India price. However, leaks suggest the smartphone could be priced above Rs 30,000. If that happens, it is expected to compete with devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE series, Motorola Edge series and Redmi Note 15 Pro. While rival phones may offer stronger performance or faster charging in some cases, Nothing is likely to differentiate itself through its software experience, distinctive design and long-term brand appeal.
Those looking for the best value-to-performance ratio may want to wait for reviews of the standard Phone 4b before making a purchase. However, RCB supporters and collectors may find the limited-edition model appealing given its exclusive design and one-day availability.
