
To identify the brands delivering the most satisfactory results to users, we surveyed over 8,000 participants to figure out the aspects users enjoyed the most on their smartphones. As per the final report, Nothing was a top pick by the majority of the respondents in areas such as phone speed, software experience, and cameras. Notably, the company recorded 567 percent of year-over-year growth in H1 2024 making it the fastest-growing brand in India, per a Counterpoint Research report. Nothing sees a growth in ownership share

- Nothing is among the brands that witnessed an increase in their ownership share from last year’s Great Indian Smartphone Survey.
- Its ownership share went up from 1.9 percent to 2.1 percent over the past year, per the final data curated from the participants’ responses.
Nothing is among the top brands to deliver reliable phone speeds

- When asked about their experience regarding phone speeds, 71.7 percent of Nothing users claimed that they were completely satisfied with their phones.
- Although iQOO takes the lead in this aspect, it’s safe to assume that Nothing OS is well-optimised for swift operations and interactions throughout the UI.
Nothing scores high in terms of rear and front cameras

- Nothing ranks the second highest in rear camera user satisfaction with 66.7 percent of votes, outpacing Apple, Vivo, and Samsung.
- This could be a result of constantly pushing out camera optimisation updates on Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (2a) to improve the HDR and detailing in the images.
- As for the front camera user satisfaction, Nothing came in third with 49.5 percent of people preferring the selfie outputs from Nothing phones.
Nothing users were highly impressed by their phone’s display

- Around 74 percent of Nothing users are having a great time with the display of their smartphones. The brand sits right in between OnePlus and Apple in this area.
- Most smartphones in its portfolio feature thin and symmetrical bezel AMOLED displays, allowing for a great content viewing experience.
Nothing OS reigns supreme in software experience

- It appears that Nothing smartphones offer the most satisfactory and reliable software experience. 80 percent of Nothing users claim to enjoy Nothing OS which is significantly higher than other brands.
- Brands like Apple and OnePlus sit with 66.4 percent and 66.3 percent of votes, respectively, in terms of software performance.
- The London-based company has successfully delivered consistent software updates to all its phones over the past year and brought key features such as a call recording widget and Wallpaper Studio, along with stability improvements.
Nothing users feel the brand offers the most VFM devices

- Upon asked about their preferred value-for-money smartphone brand, 78.3 percent of survey participants picked Nothing.
- This is much higher than other brands and right below iQOO which was opted by over 85 percent of respondents.
- Nothing ushered in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment with the launch of Nothing Phone (2a) which features a striking design, symmetrical bezel display bezels, and great performance thanks to the Dimensity 7200 Pro.
Nothing tops overall user satisfaction

- Since Nothing came on top in various attributes, the company also led in overall user satisfaction with 66.7 percent of Nothing users claiming to be satisfied with their current phone.
