OnePlus 13 leaked render reveals different camera design

  • According to a post on X by OnePlus Club, OnePlus 13 will come with a redesigned camera module. Now instead of the circular camera module, we’ll get vertically stacked rear cameras on the top-left corner.
  • The camera in the middle has a wider circle around it but that’s about the overall design. The Hasselblad branding is also visible in the camera module of the OnePlus 13.  It’s a very subtle design if we compare it to the current design on the OnePlus 12 series.
  • Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station also shared details on the OnePlus 13 saying that the smartphone will get a design change. So we might actually see a redesigned camera module on the OnePlus 13.

In addition to the design, the X post also suggests the OnePlus 13 will launch in October this year, and with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The launch timeline is quite early for the OnePlus flagship since we usually see it debut sometime around October.

This isn’t the first we’re hearing about the OnePlus 13’s design change as DCS had previously shared similar information around it. According to the tipster, a OnePlus flagship most likely the OnePlus 13 prototype Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 device is being tested. This prototype doesn’t have the stainless steel hinge, and the circular camera module. So in addition to the cameras, we might see an overall design change on the OnePlus 13.

OnePlus 13 is also tipped to feature a 2K display, which is the same as the OnePlus 12. Its triple camera setup will feature a 50MP primary camera with an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto lens.
