OnePlus 15, 15R India prices increased again; now up to Rs 6,000 higher
If you’ve been sitting on a decision about getting the OnePlus 15 or 15R, that wait just got more expensive. Both phones have seen price increases effective today, as pointed out by tipster Sanju Choudhary. This is the first hike for the flagship OnePlus 15, but the 15R had gotten a price bump earlier.
The new prices are already live on the OnePlus website. For the OnePlus 15, the 12GB+256GB variant now costs Rs 77,999, while the 16GB+512GB version has moved to Rs 85,999. This marks a jump of up to Rs 6,000 within roughly six months of release. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15R had already seen a Rs 2,500 hike shortly after its December 2025 launch.

For context, the 15R launched in December 2025 at Rs 47,999 for the base model. It has now been hiked twice since launch. The 15 launched around the same time at Rs 72,999 and has seen similar upward movement. Sanju notes that despite the increases, both phones still cost less than several upcoming flagships expected to launch at higher price points due to the same component cost pressures. He also adds that this trend is not going away anytime soon. With component costs still elevated, more brands are expected to follow with their own increases this month.
The silver lining, for now, is that OnePlus is running limited-time bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000 on the 15 and Rs 2,000 on the 15R, which partially offsets the hike if you move quickly.
OnePlus 15 and 15R: features at a glance
The OnePlus 15 is the outright flagship. It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with up to 165Hz in supported games, and a triple 50MP camera system headlined by a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. Charging is 120W wired and 50W wireless. The 7,300mAh battery supports 8K video and the world’s first 4K at 120fps Dolby Vision recording. It is a fully loaded phone at its price.
The OnePlus 15R sits a tier below but is not a significant compromise. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, a 6.83-inch AMOLED at up to 165Hz, and a 7,400mAh silicon-carbon battery, actually larger than the 15, with 80W charging. The camera steps down to a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide with no telephoto. It also adds a dedicated G2 gaming chip and bypass charging for sustained gaming sessions. IP68 and IP69 ratings are present on both.
The clearest differences between the two come down to cameras and charging. The 15 has a proper periscope zoom and significantly faster wired and wireless charging. The 15R skips the telephoto and wireless charging but compensates with a larger battery and a slightly lower price even after the hike.
If either phone is already on your shortlist, the bank discount window makes this a reasonable moment to act. Waiting risks another price increase without any corresponding upgrade to the hardware. If you are comparing these against upcoming launches, factor in that those phones will likely land at higher prices than their predecessors given the same component cost environment.
