OnePlus Buds 3 to be unveiled in India at OnePlus 12 launch event

OnePlus is hosting a launch event in India on January 23rd where it will unveil its new flagship phone, the OnePlus 12. Joining along is the OnePlus 12R, which is most likely a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3, and the brand’s new TWS ‘OnePlus Buds 3’ as well. This was launched alongside the OnePlus Ace 3 earlier this month in China.

OnePlus Buds 3 India launch confirmed

OnePlus Buds 3 India launch has been officially confirmed by the brand who shared the announcement on X earlier today. The TWS will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. It will succeed the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 as the brand’s premium TWS offering. In China, the OnePlus Buds 3 is priced at CNY 499 (Rs 5,800 approx). We’re expecting it cost around the same or higher in India.

OnePlus Buds Ace 3 comes in a glossy finish in two colour options of Space Ash and Sunny Sea Blue. The Blue colour variant is shown in the teaser but we should get the other colour as well.

OnePlus Buds Ace specs, features

OnePlus Buds Ace 3 has three microphones, and offers a low latency of 94ms.
It is equipped with ANC, LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Audio support, and 3D surround space sound effects. You also get Dynamic Bass technology with the OnePlus Buds 3.
OnePlus Buds 3 has touch controls for music playback, volume bar and more.
It features a USB Type-C port, and fast charging support that is claimed to give up to 7 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charge.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Buds 3 can last for 6.5 hours with ANC turned on. With the case, it can last for up to 28 hours. If ANC is turned off, then the OnePlus Buds 3 can last for up to 10 hours and 44 hours with the case.
The earbuds have a 58mAh battery, while the case packs a 520mAh battery.
