OnePlus Watch 4 officially unveiled globally: 1.5-inch display, Wear OS 6.0, and more

Highlights

OnePlus Watch 4 has been listed on the brand’s global website, with all its details officially revealed. This is OnePlus’s flagship smartwatch, succeeding last year’s OnePlus Watch 3. While everything is out about the new wearable, OnePlus hasn’t revealed its pricing details yet. The new OnePlus Watch 4 comes with a lighter and slightly thinner design than its predecessor, the Watch 3. Let’s take a look at everything new with the OnePlus Watch 4.

OnePlus Watch 4 specifications

The OnePlus Watch 4 features a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display (466×466 pixels) with 3000 nits peak brightness and sapphire crystal cover glass. The smartwatch weighs around 68g with the wrist strap. This is lighter than the OnePlus Watch 3, which weighs around 81g with the wrist strap. It’s powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 processor found on the OnePlus Watch 3. This means you’ll likely get a similar performance on both wearables. It also comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

The new OnePlus smartwatch comes with a 646mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the Watch 3’s 631mAh battery. OnePlus says the smartwatch should last for around 3 days with heavy use and 5 days in smart mode. The smartwatch takes around 75 minutes to fully charge to 100 percent. On the software front, it runs Wear OS 6.0 with OxygenOS Watch 8 layered on top. This is the latest software version from Google for wearables, which means you’re getting a refined UI with OnePlus elements as well.

The OnePlus Watch 4 comes in a titanium alloy case in two different finishes: Midnight Titanium with a fluororubber strap and Evergreen Titanium with a mix fluororubber strap. Both the straps have distinct designs, giving users a choice depending on their preference. But the overall look of the OnePlus Watch 4 could be more appealing for sports or adventures.
