[Exclusive] OnePlus Y1S TV series launching in India soon: Android TV 11, 20W speakers, and more in tow

OnePlus Y1S TV series will be available in 32-inch and 43-inch models and come with Android TV 11.0 custom skin, HDR10+, and Dolby Audio (with Atmos decoding). They come with 20W speakers and connectivity options could include dual-band Wi-Fi, which is an upgrade considering earlier models had only 2.4GHz support. This falls in line with an earlier report that said OnePlus would soon launch two new TVs in India. These will look to take on Realme, Xiaomi, and other smart TVs in the segment.

Separately, we recently reported that the OnePlus 10 Pro has entered private testing in India and Europe and is expected to launch by March-end. The handset comes with high-end specifications like the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP triple cameras, and Android 12 OS. Similarly, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G that was recently on the OnePlus India website source code, is out of testing and is expected to debut in February. It is said to come as a cheaper alternative to the Nord 2 and comes with MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor, MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor, and a 64MP primary OmniVision sensor.
