OPPO A1 has been launched in China officially. The handset comes as a cheaper alternative to the OPPO A1 Pro that debuted last year. The handset comes in Blue, Black, and Orange colours. While the former two come with a plastic back panel, the latter has a leather finish. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, dual camera sensors, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and runs Android 13 OS out of the box. The OPPO A1 5G has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and ‘Innovative AI’ camera text engraved.

The OPPO A1 5G is priced at RMB 1999 (approx Rs 23,900) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The phone comes in Ocean Blue, Sandstone Black and Caberia Orange colours. The phone is already on sale in China.

OPPO A1 5G sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2412 X 1080 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to up to 680nits peak brightness. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 paired with Adreno 619 GPU for graphics. The phone runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
The OPPO A1 5G packs 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage that is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The OPPO A1 5G packs dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash and a 2MP mono portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
