OPPO has started teasing its next foldable, the Find N6, in China with a “coming soon” post and a tagline which translates to “Smooth Sailing.” The teaser itself doesn’t say much, but the image hints at a shallow crease, which means OPPO is keen on addressing one of the biggest headaches for foldable phones.
The crease has always been a talking point in foldables. Not only is it a visual sore but it also changes how the screen feels when you swipe across it. OPPO already trimmed it down to about 0.15 mm on the Find N5, which a lot of usrs called one of the best at the time. Now the Find N6 could be taking it further, for a smoother feel when you’re just using the unfolded screen day to day.
That’s all the confirmed information we have on the Find N6 but leaks and regulatory filings suggest a few versions are coming, including one with Beidou satellite support. Both regular and satellite models might work with an AI stylus. We can expect a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging, which should help fix one of foldables’ usual problems — slim bodies that can’t hold much juice.
The Find N6 is also rumoured to pack an 8.12-inch inner display next to a 6.62-inch cover screen, keeping it in the book-style club with Samsung and Honor models. It might run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with options up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Cameras could include a 200MP main sensor, plus ultrawide, periscope telephoto, and a multispectral sensor. Like with most high megapixel cameras, it’ll come down to how well OPPO tunes it rather than the headline numbers.

Photos popping up on Chinese social media show OPPO giving magnetic accessories too, including a stand, protective case, card holder, and even a power bank. Reports suggest the Find N6 could launch on March 17th right after the Spring Festival in China. Global rollout to a few markets should come after that. OPPO hasn’t launched a foldable in India since the Find N3 Flip in 2023, so we’re not sure if the phone will make it here.
Samsung keeps pushing durability and software tweaks in its foldables, while Honor looks at making them super thin and light. OPPO’s Find N6 play strategy involves reducing the crease, beefing up the battery, and adding accessories. For buyers, its appeal will likely come down to how these practical changes hold up in daily use and whether pricing keeps it competitive in the premium segment.
