The upcoming OPPO Find X10 series is shaping up to be a direct rival to Apple’s latest iPhone 17 Pro lineup, at least if the latest leaks are anything to go by. The rumoured lineup, which includes the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max, seems to be moving toward a more premium, iPhone-like design while also bringing major camera and battery upgrades. The design is shifting to something familiar
The biggest talking point so far is the new design of the series. OPPO may be moving away from its familiar circular camera module and toward a more rectangular, two-part layout with the cameras at the top-left and the flash plus another sensor on the right, based on a new leak.
That puts the phones much closer to the iPhone 17 Pro series, which the company is reportedly using as a comparison benchmark in testing, based on this new tweet by a tipster on X.
There is also plenty more being whispered about the lineup, the Find X10 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K LTPO display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels, while earlier leaks had pointed to a larger 6.89-inch 2K panel. It is also expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chip and could pack dual 200MP rear cameras, along with an 8,000mAh battery.
The regular Find X10 is said to come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K display and Dimensity 9600 Lite chip, while the Find X10 Pro could keep a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel and move to the more powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro. In other words, OPPO seems to be building a lineup that separates compact, premium and ultra-premium buyers more clearly this time around.
Why the comparison with the iPhone 17 Pro series?
The comparison with the iPhone 17 Pro series is likely to be important for perception as much as performance. OPPO may be borrowing some visual cues, but the final test will be whether the phones can back up that premium styling with real-world camera output, battery life and software polish.
For OPPO fans, this looks like a promising evolution of the Find X series, especially if the company can deliver on the camera and endurance upgrades.
