OPPO has officially begun selling its Reno 15 series in India, with the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro Mini, and Reno 15 Pro now available across online and offline channels. Aimed at young travellers and photography enthusiasts, the Reno 15 lineup leans heavily into premium design, AI-powered camera features, and improved durability. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is OPPO’s first true compact phone, and there’s also a fourth Reno 15c model, but this one is going on sale in February.
The Reno 15 Pro Mini is the most distinctive of the three, thanks to its compact size. It packs a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 200MP OIS primary camera supported by 50MP ultra-wide and 3.5x telephoto lenses, and a 6,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and is rated IP66, IP68, and IP69 for dust and water resistance. This handset stands out for its versatile cameras, a durable and stylish build. However, it could fall short in performance in comparison to other compact phones, such as the OnePlus 13s and the Vivo X200 FE, which are also more affordable.
The Reno 15 Pro builds on the same core hardware but stretches to a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display that can dynamically scale down to 1Hz, ups the battery to 6,500mAh, and adds 50W AirVOOC wireless charging alongside 80W wired fast charging, making it the most full-featured model in the series.
The base Reno 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It keeps a versatile camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP selfie shooter, paired with a 6,500mAh battery.
All three phones ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16, bringing AI Mind Space, AI Portrait Glow, and AI Call Summary, similar to OPPO’s Find X9 flagships.
The OPPO Reno 15 series is now available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail outlets, and the OPPO e-store. Pricing for the Reno 15 starts at Rs 45,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant in Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Twilight Blue, going up to Rs 53,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is priced at Rs 59,999 for 12GB + 256GB and Rs 64,999 for 12GB + 512GB, available in Glacier White, Crystal Pink, and Cocoa Brown.
At the top of the range, the Reno 15 Pro starts at Rs 67,999 for 12GB + 256GB and goes up to Rs 72,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, offered in Sunset Gold and Cocoa Brown. It’s also worth noting that the Reno 15 series comes with a modest price hike, as the previous generation started at Rs 37,999, a bump that mirrors the broader industry trend of smartphones getting costlier due to rising component prices.
The OPPO Reno 15 is recommended for buyers who prioritise design, cameras, and a refined day-to-day experience over raw performance numbers. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is ideal for those who prefer a compact premium phone, while the Reno 15 Pro is the one to pick
For buyers, the Reno15 makes sense if you want a stylish phone with solid cameras at under Rs 50,000. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is ideal for those who prefer a compact premium device with top-tier photography features, while the Reno 15 Pro is the bigger sibling to pick with a larger battery and wireless charging.
