The month of October is almost here, which means PlayStation Plus users have another set of free games to look forward to. This month, players will be able to play Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Wierd West. All of these games will be available for download from October 3rd onwards, all the way till November 6th.

The Callisto Protocol (PS5, PS4)
If you are a fan of the survival horror genre, the Callisto Protocol might be just what the doctor ordered. This narrative-driven third-person game is set 300 years in the future. You take control of Jacob Lee, a prisoner sent to Black Iron, a prison located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. However, things take a turn for the worse when the inmates suddenly start transforming into monsters. Jacob will have no choice but to battle his way to safety while uncovering dark secrets about the world around him.

Farming Simulator 22 (PS5, PS4)
Ever want to leave this stressful life behind and start afresh? Well, you can’t ‘cause you have too many responsibilities. But the Farming Simulator series lets you come pretty close. Farming Simulator 22 lets you build your farm in American or European environments, each with its own unique challenges. Aside from growing crops, players can also partake in animal husbandry and forestry. Players will also get access to a wide range of machinery from real brands such as John Deere, CLAAS, Massey Ferguson and more. Players can also run their farm cooperatively in multiplayer.

Weird West (PS5, PS4)
What if the Wild West was… weirder? That is the premise of Wierd West where lawmen and gunslingers share the world with fantastical creatures. This isometric RPG supports different playstyles in a simulated sandbox world. Characters, factions and even locations react to the player’s choices and decisions. Each action is permanent so players will have to make every decision wisely. Even death can be permanent if players are not careful.
