Possible ASUS ROG Phone 7 spotted on Bluetooth SIG website

Possible ASUS ROG Phone 7, with model number ASUS_I007D, has now been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. Considering that ASUS ROG Phone 5 was launched just earlier today, it is especially surprising that the brand could have already developed its next phone in the series and the ROG Phone 7 has already appeared on a certification website. As the ROG Phone 5 had the model number ASUS_I005D, it is a safe assumption that this new handset could be the ROG Phone 7. However, as these are early days, it would be better to wait for more details to pour in about this new handset before we can confidently say that this will be the ROG Phone 7 or some other device from the brand.

ASUS ROG Phone 5 specifications

Coming back to the ASUS ROG Phone 5, the handset was launched today with some seriously impressive specifications. The handset packs a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. The ROG Phone 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC clocked at 2.84GHz, coupled with Adreno 660 GPU.

The phone is available in three models, i.e. ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate edition, with the top variant offering up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs  Android 11-based ROG UI custom skin out of the box and is fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

As far as cameras are concerned, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 comes with three sensors at the back, a 64MP (f/1.8 aperture) Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.4 aperture) 125-degree wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies and video-calling, there is a 24MP camera at the front.
