Galaxy ZFold 7: Slimmest foldable yet powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy

The Galaxy ZFold 7 measures just 8.9mm when folded, making it slimmer than its predecessor, the Galaxy ZFold 6, which had was 12.1mm. In fact, the latest Samsung phone is even slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max which has 8.3mm thickness.
When opened, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is just 4.2mm thick. This is sleeker than the iPad Pro 13, which stands at 5.1mm when unfolded.
Moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold7 weighs just 215 grams, which makes it lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which weighs 227 grams.
The sleek build is complemented by a super immersive display that can transform into a larger screen and basically become a tablet when needed. The cover screen now spans 72.8mm across (wider than the iPhone 16’s 71.6mm) and also sports a new 21:9 aspect ratio that’s perfect for single-handed scrolling, texting, and navigation.
When opened, the screen transforms into an 8-inch display, giving you ample space to run three apps side by side, take video calls while referencing notes, or edit documents without constantly switching screens.
And this refined silhouette doesn’t compromise on durability or performance. The phone features a toughened Armor Aluminum frame and a sleeker Armor FlexHinge that feels sturdy and folds flatter than ever.
Performance-wise, the phone also packs quite a punch. The Galaxy Z Fold7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, promising to offer super-fast multitasking without any hiccups.
In terms of camera, the new 200MP main sensor captures sharper, brighter shots with a 44 percent improvement in brightness, thanks to larger 1.4μm pixels. This means that capturing city lights at night or taking portraits in dim-lit environments just became quite easier. Adding to this, Samsung’s next-gen Pro-Visual Engine ensures lifelike skin tones and fine detail in every frame, and the ultra-wide lens now supports autofocus, which lets you shoot clean macro shots without needing to move closer.
