Realme 12 5G specs revealed via various certifications, BIS listing suggests imminent India launch

Realme is gearing up to unveil the Realme 12+ 5G in India on March 6th and this will join the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. Besides these, there appears to be another model in the line, dubbed the Realme 12 5G. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively spotted the handset on the BIS certification, suggesting the launch in the country could be imminent. Besides this, the phone also bagged multiple certifications, including FCC, EEC, TKDN, SIRIM, and TUV Rheinland.

Realme 12 5G spotted on multiple certifications

  • The Realme 12 5G has received the BIS certification and this shows the model number RMX3999. This confirms that India launch is definitely on cards.
  • The TUV Rheinland listing confirms the 4,880mAh battery capacity but this should be marketed as 5,000mAh.
  • The SIRIM certification besides revealing the model number also confirms the marketing name of the phone as Realme 12 5G.
  • The Realme 12 5G EEC, TKDN, and Indonesia Telecom certification platforms reveal nothing besides the model number RMX3999.
  • The FCC listing reveals the connectivity options, including 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. This also confirms the phone will boot Realme UI 5, which could be based on Android 14 OS.
