The company says the phone will offer a premium experience with regards to performance, design and cameras to its younger audience. The Realme GT 2 Pro render reveals a brand new design language for Realme, one that seems inspired by the Google Nexus 6P. The Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2022.

Realme GT 2 Pro design

Realme GT 2 Pro design screams premium. It is also a big design change for the company in a while. The biggest design element we can see is the horizontal camera mound on the back that looks similar to yesteryear’s Nexus 6P. The module houses triple cameras and dual-LED flash cutouts. The engraving in the module suggests the Realme GT 2 Pro will have dual 50MP cameras and GR Lens. For those unaware, the GR Lens offers the best shooting performance in the smallest camera body. it reduces ghosting and multi-coating on all surfaces. It is claimed to offer excellent resistance against backlighting.

The back panel seems to be made of ceramic, while the flat frame looks metal. The power button is seen on the right spine. However, we don’t get to see the front design at the moment but we speculate it could have a tiny punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and narrow bezels. The volume rocker could be placed on the left. The phone could have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Realme GT 2 Pro specifications (expected)

According to OnLeaks, the Realme GT 2 Pro specifications include a large 6.8-inch WQHD+ flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. The triple camera setup could include a 50MP primary wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and an 8MP telephoto rear camera.

Earlier reports have said the GT 2 Pro will pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. The phone could have a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Rumours point the phone could have a 125W fast charging support. Realme GT 2 Pro 5G is said to be the first smartphone to breach the 1-million mark in the AnTuTu benchmarking application. 91mobiles had exclusively reported the GT 2 Pro internal testing has begun already.

Realme GT 2 Pro price

OnLeaks tells us that the Realme GT 2 Pro price will be around USD 799 (approx. Rs 60,000) for the base model. This would make it the most expensive Realme phone yet. We can expect more details going forward.
