The Redmi Note 12S will likely be a 4G handset and can be expected to launch in the next couple of months.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the serial production of the upcoming Redmi Note 12S has begun in several European and Eurasian regions. The tipster further notes that the launch of the device might take place within the next couple of months. The device recently appeared on the FCC certification website as well, which confirmed its design and the presence of 67W fast charging support. The device appears to have similar design when compared with the Redmi Note 11S.
The Redmi Note 12S is tipped to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will likely be a MediaTek Helio H96 processor, which could be coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB storage. In terms of cameras, we can expect the Redmi Note 12S to house a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera. Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi Note 12S is tipped to feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the device will likely come with Android 12-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box.
