The pricing of Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro series (roundup) has leaked ahead of its India launch, offering a look at how the company plans to position its next mid-range phones. According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the lineup, which will include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, will start just above Rs 30,000.
Based on the leak, the Redmi Note 15 Pro could be priced at Rs 30,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB version may cost Rs 32,999. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is said to start at Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, with higher variants priced at Rs 40,999 for 12GB + 256GB and Rs 44,999 for 12GB + 512GB.
If these prices turn out to be accurate, Xiaomi seems to be pushing the Redmi Note Pro series into a higher segment than before. For context, the Redmi Note 14 Pro lineup launched in the Rs 25,000- Rs 30,000 range, and was seen as a value pick in its segment. With the Note 15 Pro series, Xiaomi seems more comfortable asking buyers to pay extra for refinements rather than just specs. Of course, the rising DDRAM prices across the world are also to blame for the price rise.

At these levels, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series would go up against phones like the Realme 16 Pro series and the OnePlus Nord 5. Then there’s the iQOO Neo 10, which focusses on performance, and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A37, expected to rely on display quality, cameras, and brand value.
Instead of chasing the fastest chip or the highest benchmark scores, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series appears to be pitched as a balanced option with its big AMOLED display, large batteries, fast charging, and a tougher build. It’s a familiar Redmi Note formula, but one which could be priced higher than what long-time buyers might be used to.
The regular Redmi Note 15 Pro looks like the safer upgrade for those coming from older Redmi Note phones who want something newer without crossing into premium territory. The Pro+ makes sense if fast charging and higher storage matter, though it faces stiffer competition at that price. And for those focused mainly on value, waiting for discounts on the Redmi Note 14 Pro series could still be the smarter move once the new models arrive.
