Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphones have been launched in India. These are the latest Note series handsets from the brand, succeeding Redmi Note 8 series from last year. This is the first time Xiaomi has introduced a 'Max' version in its Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with 64MP primary camera, 32MP front camera, and 33W fast charging support, while its sibling Redmi Note 9 Pro packs 48MP primary camera, 16MP selfie shooter, and 18W fast charging support. Apart from this, both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max feature a punch-hole design and quad rear cameras. Additionally, the handsets come with the new mid-range Snapdragon 720G chipset, a beefy battery cell, and MIUI 11 with Android 10 out of the box. Xiaomi has also introduced Aura Graphic design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 both on the front and back of the Redmi Note 9 Pro series.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro price in India is set at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone's 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option will set you back to Rs 15,999. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max prices in India are Rs 14,999, Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB, respectively. Both the handsets come in Interstellar Black, Aurora Blue, and Glacier White colour options. The Redmi Note 9 Pro first sale date is March 17th, and buyers will be able to purchase them from Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studio outlets. Finally, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max first sale is on March 17th from the same channels.
Starting with Redmi Note 9 Pro specifications, the handset flaunts a glass sandwich design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 both on front and back.
