Xiaomi 15 series is believed to be the first to debut with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is expected to be announced in October. The lineup will include two models: the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. There have been multiple leaks and rumours about the flagships already. Xiaomi 15 Pro hardware details tipped

  • According to DigitalChatStation, the early prototype of Xiaomi 15 Pro will be equipped with a 2K micro-curved screen.  
  • Without revealing the actual screen size, the tipster claimed the screen would be much different than the predecessor.

  • The Xiaomi 15 Pro is also tipped to feature a periscope camera. The design of the camera module is reportedly fine-tuned apparently. 
  • Within the module, there could be triple cameras, including a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope lens with macro capability. 
  • The main sensor will reportedly offer a larger aperture compared to Xiaomi 14.

The Xiaomi 15 series could be the first to be powered by Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The chipset will be manufactured by TSMC and will use the 2nd gen 3nm process node (N3E). 

The flagships are expected to arrive around early October. The Xiaomi 15 Pro is tipped to feature an ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Design-wise, the Xiaomi 15 is believed to feature a flat display similar to the predecessor, while the Pro version might have slight curvature as tipped by DCS. Since the launch is still very far away, we should come across more details in the coming days.
