Xiaomi MIX Flip specifications (leaked)
The Android Headlines team has spotted details about the Xiaomi MIX Flip’s camera sensors and display resolution within the HyperOS source code. Here’s what they have divulged:
- The primary sensor on the MIX Flip appears to be Light Hunter 800 (ovx8000), which is based on the OmniVision OV50E sensor. This is a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.55-inch diameter. If you recall, this is the same sensor used in the Redmi K70 Pro. So, it’s a tried and tested camera.
- The accompanying sensor is revealed to be Omnivision OV60A with 2x Optical zoom capability. It is a front camera sensor on other phones like Motorola Edge 40 Pro. Interestingly enough, it seems to be used as a secondary sensor on the back of the MIX Flip.
- The front camera, meanwhile, is seen to be a 32MP OV32B sensor, something which is also found in the recently launched Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
- They have also discovered the cover screen’s pixel density to be 520 PPI, which is lower than the aforementioned Redmi K70 Pro’s 560 PPI panel. The latter’s screen resolution is 2K, so it is safe to assume the MI Flip’s display could be of 1.5K resolution.

Besides this, from a GSMChina report last month, we learned the MIX Flip’s processor could be Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (with model number SM8650). This is different from earlier rumours. Nonetheless, in that report, the folding phone was claimed to be available in two models with internal model number “N8,” code numbers 2405CPX3DG and 2405CPX3D and the codename “ruyi”. The cover image is also a render shared by the same publication.
However, that report clearly stated the MIX Flip won’t be coming to India.
