Redmi Turbo 6 Max specifications leak: 7-inch display, Dimensity 9000 series chipset and more

Redmi is reportedly working on a smartphone that has a large tablet-like display. The smartphone in question is the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, which actually looks like a phablet based on its recent leaked render. Now, key specifications of the Turbo 6 Max have leaked online, giving us an idea of what to expect from the handset. This leak also suggests the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could launch as the POCO X9 Pro Max globally.

Redmi Turbo 6 Max specifications (expected)

According to details shared by tipster Gadgets Data, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will feature a massive 7-inch display with a 2K resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, LTPS OLED panel, and ultra-slim bezels. A smartphone display this large would give you a phablet feel like the phones from back in the day. It’s not entirely surprising, though, as the Redmi 15 in India also offers a 6.9-inch display. The specs are solid though: with a 185Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max would be great for gaming and watching content.

The smartphone is said to be powered by a 3nm Dimensity 9000 series chipset—either the Dimensity 9500 or Dimensity 9500M. This should ensure flagship performance on the Redmi Turbo 6 Max. The chipset will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Not just the display, but the Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also tipped to pack a massive 10000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Its predecessor, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, also packed a large 9,000mAh battery.

The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also tipped to feature a 50MP main camera with OIS and an ultra-wide lens. The setup seems minimal, suggesting Redmi is focusing more on performance and endurance than cameras with the Turbo 6 Max. More details include a metal frame, horizontal camera module, an IP69 rating, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.

Judging by what has been revealed so far, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max is shaping up to be a performance-focused smartphone with a large display and battery. If you specifically want a phone with a large display for gaming or multimedia with reliable performance and battery life, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could be worth waiting for. We should still wait for official details since these specifications are based on leaks.
