[highlights]

The Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300, while the Nova 2 Pro 5G runs on Dimensity 7100.

The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G features customisable notification lights on the rear panel.

Both phones will be available starting June 26th on Flipkart and select retail stores.

[/highlights]

Following the release of the Ai+ Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra in early April, the Madhav Sheth-owned brand has today released the Ai+ Nova 2 Neo and Nova 2 Pro 5G in India to cater to the sub-Rs 20,000 market. Aimed at value-conscious buyers, Ai+ notes that these smartphones are suitable for creators, professionals, and performance-focused upgraders. Earlier, the brand released the Open Review Program for these devices, in which tech journalists, creators, and community members came together to review these phones and offer raw thoughts to their audience before the launch. The brand notes that the feedback through these reviews will be implemented for product improvement and optimisation.

Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G, Nova 2 Pro 5G price: price, availability

Phone

Storage

Price

Ai+ Nova 2 5G

4GB + 128GB

Rs 12,999

6GB + 128GB

Rs 13,999

Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G

6GB + 128GB

Rs 15,999

8GB + 128GB

Rs 17,999

As part of the early bird offer, the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G can be purchased for Rs 1,000 less using an instant bank discount applicable on major credit and debit cards. Both phones go on sale on Flipkart and select retail outlets starting June 26th at 12 noon.

What the Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G offers

Starting with the Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G, the device features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits HBM brightness, which is on par with the competition, including Ai+'s own Nova 2 5G. Running at its core is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a slightly superior choice over the Unisoc T8200 found on the HMD Vibe 2 and Lava Shark 2 5G at a similar price point. One can expect the phone to output AnTuTu scores of around 6 lakh, just like the Realme C83.

Photography is taken care of by a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera, while up front, there's an 8MP selfie shooter. Given the camera hardware, it could offer sharper and more consistent results over the 13MP sensor found on the Lava Shark 2 5G. Everything on the phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, which should last at least an entire day with heavy use, as we've seen on the Nova 2 5G in our review.

On the software front, the Nova 2 Neo 5G runs on nxtOS based on Android 16, which features NxtPrivacy Dashboard, while the AI Key should offer support for running different AI tasks. Some of the additions include a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio support, IP65 rating, and expandable memory up to 2TB through a dedicated microSD slot.

What the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G brings to the table

Moving on to the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G, the handset flaunts a superior 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits HBM brightness support compared to the Nova 2 Neo. For Rs 15,999, the phone offers a higher resolution over the Realme C83 and OPPO K14x, both of which are restricted to 720p displays.

It gets the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, the same processor we saw on the recently released Pova 8, priced at Rs 29,999. This is a 6nm processor that should offer enough prowess for handling daily tasks and medium-level gaming. In a segment where ultrawide sensors have become rare, the Nova 2 Pro 5G gets an 8MP ultrawide unit alongside a 48MP rear camera with a Sony IMX582 sensor.

Just like the Nova 2 Neo, the Nova 2 Pro 5G gains a 6,000mAh battery, but with faster 33W charging and an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. The phone also features a customisable rear panel notification lights, which users should be able to tweak per their liking using the phone's nxtOS software layered on top of Android 16.

Where do the Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G, Nova 2 Pro 5G stand in the market?

The Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G rivals the likes of recently released 5G phones, such as the HMD Vibe 2, Lava Shark 2 5G, and Lava Bold N2 5G. It carries a tad superior processor and added functionalities like the AI Key that should result in better day-to-day performance and better productivity in everyday use.

On the other hand, the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G competes against the Realme C83 and OPPO K14x, providing a higher resolution and display refresh rate, and a much more capable processor. However, the 6,000mAh battery falls short of the said phones.

OnePlus 15s India launch ruled out again, OnePlus 16 plans still unclear: tipster

[highlights]

OnePlus may not bring its compact phone to India this year.

The OnePlus 16 launch also remains unclear as of now.

OnePlus is introducing a new budget lineup in India.

[/highlights]

As OnePlus gears up to launch a new budget-centric 'N6' smartphone in India, the roadmap for its traditional lineups remains shrouded in uncertainty. Fresh rumours reiterate that the compact OnePlus 15s may completely skip the Indian market. Furthermore, clarity is still lacking regarding the strategy for the flagship OnePlus 16 series expected later this year. If these reports hold weight, OnePlus could be eyeing a massive shift in its Indian product strategy.

OnePlus 15s India launch reportedly cancelled

In an X post, tipster Yogesh Brar talked about the OnePlus 15s India launch and how it's not happening. The tipster seemed quite confident, adding that people should "move on" at this point. This isn't the first time we're hearing about the OnePlus 15s not launching in India. Earlier this year, in January, the same tipster had said that there are 90 percent chances of OnePlus not launching the 15s in India. Not just the 15s, the tipster also said that the OnePlus Open 2 won't be launching globally or in India.

It's unclear why OnePlus changed its plans, as the predecessor, OnePlus 13s (review), has been among the best compact flagships in India.

Interestingly, in April, another tipster had predicted that the OnePlus 15s would launch in India by Q2 end, but clearly that's not happening.

The OnePlus 15s, if launched, would have been based on the OnePlus 15T, which launched in China this March. It has a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a 7,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The OnePlus 15T also features a dual 50MP camera setup with a 3.5x periscope lens.

The absence of the OnePlus 15s in India will undoubtedly disappoint tech enthusiasts waiting for a true compact flagship. Without it, buyers miss out on a rare combination: top-tier performance and reliable cameras packed into a pocket-friendly form factor, all backed by OxygenOS and a massive battery. So if you've been waiting for the 15s, you might want to go ahead and get the 13s or other compact alternatives like the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini.

OnePlus 16 India launch still unconfirmed

The X post was primarily about the uncertainty of the OnePlus 16 India launch. The tipster says that nothing is finalised right now about the OnePlus 16. It's still too early to say anything about the OnePlus 16 as we still have time before the flagship lineup makes its way to India. Also, since this is OnePlus's key smartphone lineup, it would be a major decision for the brand to not launch it here. So it's best to wait for more concrete details before jumping to conclusions.

Alleged OPPO Find N7 Wide leak hints at crease-free display and new camera design

OPPO could also be coming out with a wide book-style foldable, besides Apple and Samsung. It's tentatively being called the OPPO Find N7 Wide.

[highlights]

A new leak claims the Oppo Find N7 Wide could feature a wider book-style foldable design.

The foldable may debut in Q1 2027 with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch cover screen.

It could come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.

[/highlights]

It's not just Apple and Samsung who are making wide, book-style foldables. A new leak suggests OPPO is also working on a wider-format book-style foldable that could arrive with a significantly less visible display crease and a redesigned rear camera layout.

According to Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu (via), the device, tentatively referred to as the OPPO Find N7 Wide, could feature display technology designed to minimise the crease, which is one of the most common complaints among foldable phone users. The tipster also claims the phone may adopt a horizontally arranged rear camera module, marking a departure from some of OPPO's recent designs.

OPPO Find N7 Wide expected features

The latest leak adds to information shared earlier this month by tipster Digital Chat Station. According to that report, OPPO is testing a new book-style foldable with a roughly 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch cover screen. The device is reportedly being developed with display panels supplied by Samsung Display and BOE and could launch in Q1 2027.

The same leak suggested the foldable could be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, which is expected to be built on a 2 nm process. DCS said OPPO is also believed to be working on a new hinge system aimed at further reducing the visibility of the display crease, which aligns with the latest information from Smart Pikachu.

As manufacturers search for ways to make foldables feel more practical for everyday use, wider displays and improved hinges are emerging as areas of focus. The wider form factor itself is becoming an important trend in the foldable market. Samsung is widely expected to introduce a Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide model later this year, while Apple is reportedly developing its first foldable iPhone with a similar approach. Reports suggest Apple's foldable, which could eventually be marketed as the iPhone Ultra, may feature a shorter and wider book-style design with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

For buyers, this shift towards wider foldables could be one of the biggest upgrades the category has seen. A wider cover display makes everyday tasks easier without unfolding the device, while a landscape-oriented inner screen can improve multitasking, productivity and media consumption. If OPPO can combine that design with a nearly crease-free display, the Find N7 Wide could emerge as a rival to upcoming foldables from Samsung and Apple when it arrives. Buyers looking forward the wide style of foldables should keep an eye out for more information on this phone.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion gets a new 512GB storage variant in India

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is now available across four variants in India. Here are the latest details.

The company has introduced a new model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, making it the most expensive version of the smartphone available in the country.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion was launched in March and was previously offered with up to 256GB of storage. The new 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs 36,999 and is available through Motorola's online store in Pantone Silhouette, Pantone Blue Surf and Pantone Orient Blue colour options.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion specifications and pricing

Apart from the storage upgrade, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion remains unchanged. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and packs a 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. For photography, the device includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 out of the box and comes with a promise of three major Android OS upgrades.

Motorola now sells the Edge 70 Fusion in the following variants:

8GB + 128GB: Rs 29,999

8GB + 256GB: Rs 31,999

12GB + 256GB: Rs 33,999

12GB + 512GB: Rs 36,999

At Rs 36,999, the new variant enters a competitive segment that includes devices such as the OnePlus Nord series, Redmi Turbo 5 and Nothing Phone 4a series. Brands are increasingly offering larger storage capacities as users keep more photos, videos and AI-generated content on their devices. Rivals have also been pushing 512GB variants into the premium mid-range segment over the past year.

Buyers who frequently shoot videos, download large games or plan to keep their phone for several years may find the extra storage worthwhile. However, for most users, the 12GB + 256GB version at Rs 33,999 is likely to offer a better balance of value and capacity while delivering the same overall experience.

No CMF Phone 3 Pro but a new Nothing Phone (4b) is coming: latest teaser drops hints

A new Nothing Phone (4b) could be coming from the brand, with the transparent design and a single rear camera being teased. Here's what we expect.

[highlights]

Nothing India has released a new teaser, hinting at the arrival of a new smartphone.

The teaser reveals Nothing's signature transparent rear design and a single rear camera.

Nothing cancelled the CMF Phone 3 Pro a few days ago.

[/highlights]

The news of the CMF Phone 3 Pro being cancelled may have disappointed some Nothing/CMF fans, but as co-founder Akis Evangelidis pointed out in his post, a lot more seems to be coming from the brand. The company has started teasing an entirely new device that could kick off a fresh "b" series lineup. A new video teaser from Nothing India offers the clearest look yet at the upcoming phone, and all signs currently point towards a possible Nothing Phone (4b).

The teaser follows an earlier cryptic post by Nothing's global page carrying just the letter "(b)", which immediately sparked speculation about a new product category. All pieces of the puzzle seem to be coming together as Blastoise could actually be the internal codename for the Phone (4b). Note the 'b' reference. While Nothing has not confirmed the phone's name or specifications, the teaser reveals a few familiar design traits. The teaser shows a sketch being made of a phone with the company's signature transparent rear panel, with visible internal elements underneath. The video ends with a shot of pencils labelled "2b", "3b", "5b" and the one where "4b" is supposed to be, is highlighted.

(b)usted. pic.twitter.com/b42Lk709lM
— Nothing India (@nothingindia) June 21, 2026

The biggest clue is the camera setup. Unlike most recent Nothing phones, which offer two or more rear cameras, the teased device appears to feature a single rear camera. That decision could indicate a stronger focus on affordability. We remember Carl Pei talking about how it made more sense for smartphone brands to have one or two good cameras instead of more decorative lenses, prior to the launch of the Nothing Phone (1). The company seems to be returning to that strategy.

Expected pricing

Obviously we have no official word on how much the alleged Nothing Phone (4b) could cost, but the single rear camera makes us think it may be leaning towards affordability. Nothing's (not CMF) most affordable phone currently is the Phone (3a) Lite, which launched at Rs 20,999. However, recent memory and component cost increases have pushed prices higher across the industry, with the device now selling for well above Rs 25,000.

Against that backdrop, the Phone (4b) could represent a return to basics. Instead of offering multiple cameras, Nothing may focus on delivering good everyday performance, good battery life and a clean software experience while keeping costs under control. A single good camera is often more useful than multiple low-quality sensors that add little real-world value.

If Nothing manages to price the Phone (4b) around the Rs 20,000 mark, it could appeal to buyers who want a unique-looking phone with reliable performance without stretching their budget too far. Considering the teasers have started, the launch may not be far off, so buyers shopping in the affordable segment should hold out their purchase.

OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16c India launch officially teased; OPPO Bubble coming too

[highlights]

OPPO Reno 16 series will include two phones.

The OPPO Bubble has been teased as well.

The Reno 16 series India launch date hasn't been revealed yet.

[/highlights]

OPPO has officially teased the launch of its new Reno 16 smartphone series in India. The announcement comes shortly after multiple leaks and news about the Reno 16 series global debut in Malaysia and Indonesia. OPPO has yet to reveal the launch date of the Reno 16 series in India. According to the teaser image, OPPO is also launching the Reno 16c and the Bubble accessory in India. The OPPO Enco Air 5 is also part of the teaser, and its India launch has already been confirmed.

OPPO Reno 16 series India launch

OPPO has teased the Reno 16 series India launch through a dedicated microsite on the official website. The lineup is also confirmed to be sold through Amazon India. As part of the launch campaign, OPPO is offering a privilege pack for Rs 9, which gets you three coupons: Rs 800 off for exchange, Rs 1,000 discount for the OPPO Pad SE, one OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro, and a Reno 16 series phone case.

The teaser image also confirms the OPPO Bubble, which is a customisable circular display designed to attach magnetically to the back of the phone. It lets users capture selfies using the phone's rear camera setup while displaying a live preview on its round screen. This accessory appears quite useful rather than a gimmick, and could appeal highly to selfie lovers.

OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16c specifications

OPPO has revealed key details about the Reno 16 and Reno 16c ahead of the India launch. The Reno 16 series will launch in Starry White, Twilight Violet, and Stellar Purple colour variants. The new Reno smartphones feature an all-new 3D Pop Planet Design on the Starry White variant, with OPPO's exclusive HoloVerse 3D Technology. The Reno 16 series also debuts the AI Snap Key, similar to the AI Plus Key on OnePlus phones. It will save content to Mind Space, where all relevant information will be organised.

The Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The Reno 16c gets a bigger 6.57-inch display with the same specs but a slightly lower brightness level of 1,400 nits. Both phones are also launching with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, along with splash touch and glove touch technology.

As for the Reno 16 series, although not officially confirmed, OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 16 and Reno 16c in India. The OPPO Reno 15c is said to share similar specifications with the Reno 16F, which is launching in other global markets. It would also be bigger in size compared to the Reno 16, which has a compact 6.32-inch display. The Reno 16c could feature a larger 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is tipped to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The rear camera setup could include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP selfie camera is also tipped. If the leaked specs are accurate, the Reno 16c could bring upgraded cameras over the Reno 15c, especially with the 3.5x telephoto lens. The Reno 16c may house a 6,500mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging support.

The Reno 16c could be a decent choice for a capable mid-range phone with versatile cameras, dependable performance, and a sizeable battery. For those who can stretch their budget or prefer a more compact phone, the Reno 16 would be a better pick. However, since the Reno 15 series launched only this year, buyers should compare and see which model gives the best value.

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro compared: which phone offers better value under Rs 40,000?

The Redmi Turbo 5 launched last week in India under Rs 40,000 and here's how it stacks up against its rival, the Vivo T5 Pro.

The Redmi Turbo 5 launched in India (review) as the company's first Turbo-series smartphone in the country. A performance-focused device, the Turbo 5 brings the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, a large 7,540mAh battery, flagship-grade durability ratings, and several premium features. One of its closest rivals is the Vivo T5 Pro, a phone that has built its identity around battery life and display quality. It offers a massive 9,020mAh battery, a 144Hz curved AMOLED display, and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.

Both phones target buyers shopping under Rs 40,000, but they take very different approaches. Here's a detailed comparison to help you decide which one fits your needs better.

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: specs at a glance

Specs

Redmi Turbo 5

Vivo T5 Pro

Display

6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness

6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED, 144Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness

Processor

MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4

RAM and storage

Up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.1 storage

Up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage

Rear cameras

50MP + 8MP ultra-wide

50MP + 2MP

Front camera

20MP

32MP

Battery, charging

7,540mAh, 100W HyperCharge

9,020mAh, 90W charging

Software

Android 16-based Hyper OS 3, 4+6 years

Android 16-based OriginOS 6

Durability

IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K

IP68, IP69

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: price

The Redmi Turbo 5 starts at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, although it's currently available at an introductory price of Rs 35,999. The higher-end 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs 40,999.

The Vivo T5 Pro launched at a lower starting price of Rs 29,999, but recent price hikes have narrowed the gap. The 8GB + 128GB variant now costs Rs 32,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version is available for Rs 36,999. Vivo's 12GB variant appears to have been discontinued.

Variant

Redmi Turbo 5

Vivo T5 Pro

8GB + 128GB

NA

Rs 32,999

8GB + 256GB

Rs 37,999

Rs 36,999

12GB + 256GB

Rs 40,999

Unavailable now

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: design, display

The Redmi Turbo 5 and Vivo T5 Pro target different customers. Redmi sticks to a flat display and flat-frame design, giving the phone a more practical and gaming-oriented appearance. It also features an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and a glass back. A unique element is Redmi's Pixel Matrix lighting system around the rear cameras, which can be customised for notifications, music playback, and alerts. The Redmi Turbo 5 comes in three colour options - Turbo White (with subtle red accents on the camera rings and power button), Nitro Blue, and Asphalt Black.

The Vivo T5 Pro takes a more premium route with its curved AMOLED display and sleeker aesthetics. It's available in Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black finishes.

Display is an area where Vivo has an advantage on paper. Its 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel offers a faster 144Hz refresh rate and higher 5,000 nits peak brightness. The Redmi's 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display remains sharp and vibrant, but Vivo's larger screen feels more immersive for content consumption and gaming.

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: performance and battery

This is where the Redmi Turbo 5 establishes its biggest advantage. The Dimensity 8500-Ultra is a significantly more powerful chipset than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, making the Redmi the stronger option for gaming, multitasking, and demanding workloads. The phone also benefits from LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and Redmi's 3D Ice Loop cooling system for better sustained performance. For gamers and heavy users, the difference is likely to be noticeable.

Battery life, however, is a different story. The Vivo T5 Pro packs a huge 9,020mAh silicon-anode battery, one of the largest batteries available in this segment. It comfortably exceeds the Redmi's still impressive 7,540mAh battery capacity. Redmi does offer faster 100W charging and 27W reverse wired charging, but Vivo is likely to last longer between charges. If performance matters most, Redmi wins this round. If endurance is your top priority, Vivo takes the lead.

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: cameras

Interestingly, both phones use the same 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, which means their main camera performance should be fairly similar in most conditions. The difference lies in the supporting cameras. Redmi includes an 8MP ultrawide lens, making it more versatile for landscapes and group shots. Vivo instead uses a basic 2MP secondary sensor.

On the front, Vivo gains an advantage with its 32MP selfie camera compared to Redmi's 20MP shooter. Redmi offers a more flexible rear camera setup, while Vivo may appeal more to users who frequently take selfies.

Redmi Turbo 5 vs Vivo T5 Pro: software

The Redmi Turbo 5 runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3, which offers extensive customisation options, ecosystem integrations, and productivity features. The Vivo T5 Pro ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The Redmi also gains extra points for premium additions such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Summing up

On paper, the Redmi Turbo 5 stands out with its more powerful chipset, stronger gaming credentials, ultrawide camera, richer connectivity features, and durability ratings. It's the better choice for gamers and buyers who want the most capable all-round hardware.

The Vivo T5 Pro, meanwhile, delivers exceptional battery life, a larger curved display, and a slightly lower entry price. It's better suited for users who prioritise multimedia consumption, long battery life, and everyday convenience. If performance and versatility are your priorities, the Redmi Turbo 5 is the stronger pick. But if your goal is maximum battery life paired with a premium display experience, the Vivo T5 Pro remains an excellent alternative.

Jio Call Agent and AI-powered MyJio app announced; set to launch later this year

At Reliance Industries’ 49th AGM, the company announced Jio Call Agent and the AI-powered MyJio app that will carry out multiple tasks using AI.

[highlights]

Jio Call Agent can be activated in an ongoing call by saying "Hey Jio".

The Call Agent can be used for transcribing, summarising, and taking notes

The upgraded MyJio app integrates tons of AI features.

[/highlights]

Just like most major tech corporations out there, Reliance Jio is boarding the AI train by bringing a slew of functionalities to its services. Announced at the Reliance Industries' 49th AGM, the company has revealed that it will introduce a smart Jio Call Agent and an AI-enhanced MyJio app that will act as a free personal concierge for its over 500 million subscribers. The Call Agent will be built into the Jio network and is aimed at aiding users with transcribing calls, generating call summaries, booking orders, and more.

Jio Call Agent can handle multiple tasks on call

The major limelight of the presentation is the Jio Call Agent, which can be summoned during calls simply by saying "Hey Jio." With user permission, the AI can join conversations to transcribe discussions in real-time (supporting multiple Indian languages), identify speakers in conference calls, generate summaries, and even create actionable tasks and reminders. Furthermore, it can execute practical tasks mid-call, such as booking a cab, ordering food, or scheduling appointments, without requiring users to switch apps.

The Jio Call Agent will be available to every Jio subscriber when it launches later this year. Since the telco states that the feature will be made available for everyone, it's safe to assume the AI Call Agent won't be locked behind an additional paywall, and users will be able to access it regardless of the recharge plan they opt for.

The successful implementation of Jio Call Agent will not only put Jio ahead of Airtel and Vi but also act as a one-stop hub for anyone seeking a boost in their workflow. In case of professional calls, users shall be able to easily go through the conversations by having a look at the transcription when looking for an important detail, while call summaries will lay out the entire conversation in one place.

MyJio app is getting an AI upgrade

Complementing Jio Call Agent is the upgraded MyJio app, which is being transformed into a proactive personal AI advisor. Instead of navigating complex menus, users will be able to converse naturally with the assistant for tasks like recommending travel plans, managing recharges, handling eSIM activations, or suggesting suitable international roaming packs.

Jio notes that user privacy and consent remain top priorities. The AI will only act after seeking approval, with every action and payment-related transaction requiring separate confirmation.

iPhone Ultra leak suggests crease-free foldable display; could be the most expensive iPhone till date

A new leak has given us our closest look yet at Apple's first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Ultra. Here's what to expect.

[highlights]

A new leak suggests Apple's first foldable phone will feature a nearly invisible display crease, and a 4.5 mm-thin body when unfolded.

The foldable is tipped to include Apple's A20 Pro chipset, an in-house C2 modem and a dual rear camera setup.

The iPhone Ultra could debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series in September.

[/highlights]

Apple's long-rumoured foldable iPhone may finally be getting closer to reality. A new leak claims that the company's first foldable smartphone, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra, could debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series later this year with a book-style design, an almost invisible display crease, and a premium price tag.

The latest details come from YouTuber and Apple tipster Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, who shared 3D renders and information allegedly based on sources familiar with the device. While Apple has not confirmed any foldable iPhone plans, the leak offers one of the clearest looks yet at what the company's foldable ambitions might look like.

iPhone Ultra design

According to the leak, the iPhone Ultra will feature a wider book-style form factor that behaves like a regular iPhone when closed and offers a tablet-like experience when unfolded. The design is said to resemble a passport, with Apple reportedly focusing on reducing the visibility of the display crease.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Dn6qy4sQgM

The foldable is tipped to feature a thin, "over-engineered" hinge that enables a nearly seamless inner display. If accurate, this could help Apple address one of the biggest criticisms of foldable phones today, i.e the visible crease running through the centre of the screen.

The leak also claims the iPhone Ultra will measure just 4.5 mm thick when unfolded, making it slimmer than Apple's recently launched iPhone Air, which measures 5.6 mm. For context, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to measure around 4.2 mm when unfolded, highlighting how aggressively manufacturers are chasing thinner foldable designs.

The renders show a horizontal rear camera module housing two wide-angle sensors, along with a Camera Control button. Other reported specifications include Apple's upcoming A20 Pro chipset, an in-house C2 modem, and a new split-screen multitasking feature designed to take advantage of the larger display.

iPhone Ultra expected price

The iPhone Ultra is tipped to cost more than USD 2,000, which translates to roughly Rs 1.88 lakh before taxes and local pricing adjustments. If that estimate proves accurate, it would become Apple's most expensive smartphone ever.

For buyers, the first-generation nature of the device is worth keeping in mind. Apple's entry into the foldable market will undoubtedly attract attention, but consumers may want to compare it closely with established alternatives from Samsung, Google, Vivo, and OPPO, especially if pricing lands at the very top end of the premium segment.

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G teased to launch in India soon: here's what to expect

[highlights]

Galaxy M47 5G teaser image shows a deep crimson finish.

The launch date hasn't been revealed yet.

Galaxy M47 5G is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.

[/highlights]

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy M47 5G in India. The new smartphone will be part of the Galaxy M-series, which caters to the budget and mid-range lineup. The announcement comes shortly after the upcoming smartphone appeared on the BIS certification website, suggesting that its official debut is just around the corner. The handset is also expected to succeed the Galaxy M36 5G from last year, as there's no M37 model.

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G: what to expect

The official teaser includes an image of the Galaxy M47 5G, hinting at a notable design refresh for the M-series. The Galaxy M47 5G is shown in a deep crimson finish with metallic red accents around the camera rings and frame, giving it a more premium look than its predecessors. The phone also adopts a boxier design and appears to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

Samsung says the device will offer faster performance, improved multitasking capabilities, and durability-focused features aimed at younger users. It will be sold through Amazon India and Samsung's online store.

While Samsung has yet to confirm detailed specifications, reports suggest the Galaxy M47 5G will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A recent Geekbench listing also points to Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. Storage expansion of up to 1TB via microSD card is also expected.

The Galaxy M47 5G is likely to compete in the crowded sub-Rs 25,000 segment, where it will face rivals from brands such as iQOO, Realme, and Motorola. Samsung's advantage could come from its software experience, brand trust, and long-term update support, areas where the company traditionally performs well.

If you're looking for a reliable mid-range smartphone with a customisable and smooth UI, long software support, the Galaxy M47 5G could be worth waiting for. However, buyers focused on gaming performance may want to compare it with competing options before making a decision.

OnePlus N6 teased with 7-year battery health promise ahead of India launch

The OnePlus N6 is launching in India this month and the brand has revealed more details about its massive battery. Here's everything.

[highlights]

OnePlus has confirmed that the N6 will support 45W SuperVOOC charging.

The company also claims the phone's OxygenOS optimisations will help maintain smooth performance for up to 60 months.

OnePlus N6 will launch in India on June 30th.

[/highlights]

OnePlus has revealed new details about the upcoming OnePlus N6 ahead of its India launch on June 30. While the company had already confirmed the massive 8,000mAh battery, OnePlus is now highlighting the phone's charging capabilities, long-term battery durability, and software longevity.

OnePlus N6 key specifications and features

The biggest new reveal is support for 45W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus says the N6's 8,000mAh battery is designed to deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge, making it one of the largest batteries available in its category. Beyond battery size, the company is focusing on long-term ownership. OnePlus claims the battery will retain more than 80 percent of its original health even after seven years of regular charging. While such claims will need real-world validation over time, the promise aligns with a broader industry trend where brands are increasingly emphasising battery lifespan alongside charging speeds.

OnePlus has also announced a 60-month smoothness certification for the N6. According to the company, OxygenOS optimisations will help maintain system responsiveness over five years, with improvements in app launch speeds, multitasking, and animations.

The rest of the hardware remains under wraps, but a recent Geekbench listing for a device believed to be the OnePlus N6 points to a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired with 6GB RAM. OnePlus appears to be differentiating the N6 through battery life and software experience as given the chipset, the phone is unlikely to compete on benchmark numbers alone.

Check out: 4 things we want to see in the OnePlus N6

Expected India pricing

OnePlus has already confirmed that the N6 will launch in India on June 30th at 12 noon IST. Reports suggest the phone could be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 25,000. At that price, it is expected to compete with devices such as the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, Realme P4 series, Redmi 15, and POCO M-series smartphones. The launch is also notable because OnePlus has recently increased prices on several Nord models, making the N6 an important product for maintaining the brand's presence in the affordable segment.

The appeal of the N6 will likely come down to priorities. Users looking for maximum battery life and a clean software experience should wait to check out launch offers, while those focused on gaming or performance may want to compare it closely with competing options before making a decision.

Instagram finally lets users add different captions to each slide in a carousel

[highlights]

You can now add multiple captions in a carousel post.

Each slide can have a different caption.

This feature is available in India.

[/highlights]

Instagram has rolled out a feature that many creators have been requesting: the ability to add a unique caption to every slide in a carousel post. Previously, users could only add a single caption that applied to the entire post. The feature has been rolled out and is now available in India. It can be enabled with a simple toggle while creating a carousel.

Instagram multiple captions for carousels

With the new Instagram update, each photo or video within a carousel can have its own caption, making it easier to tell stories, add context, create step-by-step guides, or deliver punchlines as viewers swipe through the post.

To use the feature, you simply need to tap the caption area while creating a carousel and turn on the "Multiple Captions" option. You can then write a different caption for each slide.

The update could prove particularly useful for creators and brands, given that carousel posts are widely considered to generate higher engagement and reach than single-image posts. By allowing captions to evolve with every swipe, Instagram is giving users another tool to keep audiences engaged for longer.

The move follows Instagram's recent rollout of profile grid rearrangement, which lets users reorganise posts on their profile without deleting and reposting content. Together, these updates suggest the platform is increasingly responding to long-standing user requests and offering more creative control over how content is presented.

This feature is useful not just for creators but for any regular Instagram user. If you regularly post educational content, travel stories, memes, product showcases, or photo dumps, the new feature is worth trying immediately. It offers more flexibility than traditional carousel posts and could help creators make better use of Instagram's most engagement-friendly format.

No CMF Phone 3 Pro this year, confirms the brand; cites rising memory costs

Nothing and CMF co-founder Akis Evangelidis has confirmed the CMF Phone 3 Pro won't be launching this year. Here's why.

[highlights]

CMF has officially confirmed that it will not launch a successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro this year.

Nothing and CMF co-founder Akis Evangelidis said rising RAM and storage prices have made it difficult to deliver an upgrade.

Nothing teased two new product launches just yesterday.

[/highlights]

CMF by Nothing has officially confirmed that it will not launch a successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro this year, putting months of speculation around the CMF Phone 3 Pro to rest. The announcement comes shortly after the brand teased upcoming products through its trademark Pokemon-themed marketing campaign, which many fans initially assumed hinted at a new smartphone.

Instead, Nothing and CMF co-founder Akis Evangelidis has revealed that CMF has decided to skip a smartphone launch altogether for 2026.

Why has the CMF Phone 3 Pro been cancelled?

In a statement shared on X, Evangelidis said the decision was driven by rising memory and storage costs. According to him, current market conditions make it difficult for CMF to deliver an upgrade over the CMF Phone 2 Pro without significantly increasing the retail price.

The executive noted that the company had been working on a successor, but ultimately decided that it would rather delay the product than launch a device that fails to deliver a substantial improvement. He added that CMF wanted to remain transparent with its community rather than release what could be seen as an iterative update. The CMF Phone 2 Pro had launched in April 2025 at Rs 18,999 with the Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC and a triple camera setup.

Memory component prices have been rising across the industry, putting pressure on brands that compete in the value and mid-range segments. All companies including Nothing have faced the challenge of balancing hardware upgrades and pricing, but have had to increase prices multiple times even after launch.

CMF has built its reputation around offering strong specifications at competitive prices, and raising prices could risk undermining the brand's biggest strength. The CMF Phone 2 Pro was widely praised for its value proposition, making expectations for its successor particularly high. From a brand perspective, skipping a generation may be less damaging than launching a product that disappoints buyers.

Upcoming Nothing products

While fans may be disappointed, CMF says there is still plenty on the roadmap for the rest of the year. Evangelidis confirmed that the company is preparing several new product launches, including entries into new categories. He also hinted that Nothing's smartphone launch cycle is not over yet, suggesting that another phone announcement could be on the horizon. The company's Blastoise and Jumpluff teasers yesterday confirm that. At least one of the new products will make it to India as Blastoise has featured on Nothing's India page too. Buyers waiting specifically for a CMF upgrade may need to hold on a little longer until market conditions improve.

Positioned as Redmi's performance-focused smartphone, the device targets gamers and power users with a focus on performance, battery life, and durability.

Redmi Turbo 5 India sale details

Redmi Turbo 5 (review) starts at Rs 37,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 40,999. The smartphone is available to purchase via mi.com, Amazon.in, and Xiaomi retail stores across India. It comes in three colours: Turbo White, Nitro Blue and Asphalt Black.

Redmi is offering a discount of Rs 2,000 as part of the introductory offer on both variants.

Variant

Price

8GB + 256GB

Rs 37,999

12GB + 256GB

Rs 40,999

Redmi Turbo 5 specifications

Redmi Turbo 5 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Redmi has also equipped the device with a large vapour cooling system and gaming optimisations aimed at maintaining stable performance during extended gaming sessions. One of the biggest highlights is the massive 7,540mAh battery, the largest ever on a Redmi smartphone in India. It supports 100W fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up the battery despite its large capacity.

The Turbo 5 also features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. For photography, it gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 20MP front camera. While this camera setup is decent, it doesn't offer enough versatility like a telephoto lens for advanced zoom and detailed portraits. Other notable features include HyperOS 3, AI-powered tools, four years of Android updates, and IP66, IP68, and IP69-rated water and dust resistance.

Should you buy the Redmi Turbo 5?

In the sub-Rs 40,000 segment, the Redmi Turbo 5 competes with devices such as the Motorola Edge 70 Pro and other performance-focused smartphones. While rivals may offer more versatile camera systems, the Turbo 5 differentiates itself with its reliable battery life and strong gaming credentials.

If your priorities are gaming, sustained performance, and exceptional battery life, the Redmi Turbo 5 is among the strongest options in its price segment. Given the introductory offer, now is a good time to consider it. However, users who place greater emphasis on camera performance may find better alternatives like the Edge 70 Pro.

OPPO Enco Air 5 India launch teased on Amazon, standard model set to join Enco Air 5 Pro

OPPO is set to launch a new pair of TWS earbuds in India called the OPPO Enco Air 5. The launch has been teased on Amazon.

[highlights]

OPPO has teased the Enco Air 5 TWS earbuds for India via an Amazon microsite.

The earbuds feature an in-ear design with silicone ear tips, stem-style controls, and a rounded charging case with an LED indicator.

OPPO hasn't revealed the Enco Air 5's specifications, pricing, launch date yet.

[/highlights]

OPPO appears to be gearing up to expand its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the OPPO Enco Air 5 true wireless earbuds. The company has teased the upcoming wearable through an Amazon microsite, confirming that the earbuds will be available via the e-commerce platform after launch.

While OPPO has not announced a launch date yet, the "Coming Soon" tag on the listing suggests the debut could take place in the coming weeks. The teaser arrives shortly after the company launched the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro in India, indicating that the company is looking to build out the lineup across price segments.

OPPO Enco Air 5 design revealed

The Amazon microsite offers an early look at the earbuds' design. The Enco Air 5 appears to feature an in-ear form factor with silicone ear tips and stem-style controls. The earbuds sit inside a rounded charging case that includes an LED indicator on the front, likely for charging, battery, and pairing status.

OPPO hasn't revealed any hardware specifications, colour options, or pricing details for the standard Enco Air 5. The teaser calls the product "True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds," suggesting active noise cancellation could be one of its headline features. OPPO has yet to outline the distinctions between the standard Enco Air 5 and Enco Air 5 Pro.

For context, the Enco Air 5 Pro launched in India in May at Rs 4,999 with a fairly competitive feature set. It includes 12.4 mm dynamic drivers, up to 55dB active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, LHDC 5.0 audio codec support, dual-device pairing, and AI-powered translation features. OPPO also claims up to 54 hours of total battery life with the charging case. With the standard model, we can expect a slightly watered-down spec sheet and a lower asking price.

For users, the Enco Air 5 could be worth watching if OPPO manages to bring key features from the Pro model at a lower price point. However, buyers may want to wait for the full specifications and pricing before deciding, given the intense competition in this category.

Alleged POCO C95 Pro 4G gets certified on IMDA, could launch as Redmi 17 4G rebrand

[highlights]

POCO C95 Pro could launch as a new budget 4G smartphone.

It's tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset.

There's no official word on the phone yet.

[/highlights]

POCO could soon add a new budget smartphone to its growing C-series lineup. An unannounced POCO handset has now appeared on Singapore's IMDA certification platform, hinting that its global debut may not be far away. This is speculated to be the POCO C95 Pro 4G, which could be a rebrand of the upcoming Redmi 17 4G.

POCO C95 Pro 4G: what to expect

The certification listing reveals the model number 2606FPC72Y and confirms support for key connectivity features, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. While the device's official marketing name remains a mystery, earlier entries in the GSMA database suggest it could launch as the POCO C95 Pro 4G.

If that proves true, the POCO C95 Pro 4G could be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset. The processor is designed for affordable smartphones and is expected to deliver a balanced experience for everyday tasks, including social media, web browsing, video streaming, and casual gaming. While the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 sounds promising for the budget segment, we'll still have to see how the phone performs in real-world use. The smartphone could also launch in multiple configurations up to 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Rebranding Redmi devices under the POCO banner is a strategy Xiaomi has employed several times in the past, often allowing POCO to bring familiar hardware to different markets with a tweaked design or software experience. As a result, prospective buyers can look at future Redmi 17 4G leaks to get an early idea of what the POCO C95 Pro 4G may offer.

The upcoming POCO C95 Pro 4G could emerge as an attractive option if priced aggressively. However, with specifications still under wraps, those seeking stronger performance or advanced camera hardware may want to wait for the official announcement before making a decision. Since it's a 4G smartphone, the POCO C95 Pro could appeal more to first-time smartphone users or those who need a basic smartphone for everyday tasks and communication.

iQOO Z11i teased in China; affordable 5G smartphone launch imminent

[highlights]

iQOO Z11i could be a rebrand of the Vivo Y60.

The handset will launch in three colours.

It's expected to house a 6,500mAh battery.

[/highlights]

iQOO is adding a new smartphone to its popular Z11 lineup in China. The iQOO Z11i is being positioned as an affordable 5G smartphone sitting below the existing Z11, Z11x, and Z11 Turbo models. While the company has yet to announce an official launch date, the device has already gone up for pre-orders through iQOO's online store and major Chinese retailers.

It is also speculated that the Z11i will essentially be a rebranded version of the recently launched Vivo Y60, a move that wouldn't be unusual given Vivo and iQOO's history of sharing hardware across select models.

iQOO Z11i: what to expect

Ahead of its debut, iQOO has revealed the phone's design and color options, which include Green Peak, Desert Gold, and Ink Shadow. The design is closely similar to the Vivo Y60, further adding to the speculation that it is indeed a rebrand.

[gallery link="file" size="full" td_select_gallery_slide="slide" ids="705345,705346,705347"]

Based on this speculation, we can expect the same specs for the Z11i. Up front, it could house a 6.72-inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. A large 6,500mAh battery with 15W charging support is also expected, making battery life one of the phone's highlights.

For photography, the handset may offer a modest 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. Additional features are tipped to include OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, notification LED, and IP65-rated dust and splash resistance.

The iQOO Z11i looks set to target first-time 5G buyers and users prioritising battery endurance over camera performance or display sharpness. Those seeking stronger cameras or faster charging may want to look at higher-tier options, but the Z11i could prove attractive as a dependable budget daily driver. It would still make sense to wait for more details before going ahead and pre-ordering the phone.

Vivo X Fold 6 teaser confirms 7,000mAh battery ahead of June 26th launch

Vivo is set to launch its new foldable, the Vivo X Fold 6 soon, and here's what the teasers have been revealing.

[highlights]

Vivo has confirmed that the X Fold 6 will launch in China on June 26th.

The foldable will feature a 7,000mAh battery, IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings.

The phone is confirmed to offer a 200MP primary camera and a Zeiss APO-certified periscope telephoto camera.

[/highlights]

Vivo's next foldable launch is just around the corner and the company is steadily revealing more details about the Vivo X Fold 6. Ahead of its official debut in China on June 26th, the company has shared a teaser video showcasing the phone in multiple colour options while also highlighting its key features.

Vivo X Fold 6 features and specifications

The teaser confirms that the Vivo X Fold 6 will be available in Blue Hole, Salt Lake, and Polar Night colour options. A special Black Gold Edition with gold accents will also be offered. The video reconfirms support for the telephoto converter accessory, suggesting Vivo is continuing to market the foldable as a photography-focused flagship.

One of the biggest upgrades appears to be battery capacity. Vivo's product manager Han Boxiao has confirmed that the X Fold 6 will pack a 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries seen in a premium foldable smartphone. For context, the OPPO Find N6 packs a 6,000mAh battery. According to the company, the X Fold 6 can deliver up to 9.8 hours of heavy-use battery life, which is claimed to be around 30 percent better than its predecessor, the Vivo X Fold 5.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79yIl2ihryY

The company has additionally confirmed IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings, an upgraded hinge mechanism, and an enhanced communication system featuring new Wi-Fi and signal amplification antennas.

Beyond design and battery, Vivo previously revealed key hardware details. The X Fold 6 will feature an 8.02-inch foldable display with a claimed peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a special-edition MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and run OriginOS 6 Fold, the specialised, foldable-first version of Vivo's operating system..

On the camera front, the foldable is confirmed to feature a 200MP primary sensor based on Samsung's 1/1.4-inch HPB sensor. It will also include a Zeiss APO-certified periscope telephoto camera using Sony's LYT-602 sensor. Vivo is continuing its strategy of bringing flagship-grade imaging hardware to the foldable segment, where the current segment leaders are Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold and Flip lineup.

India launch

While Vivo hasn't announced India availability yet, an Indian launch appears likely. The brand entered India's premium foldable segment with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in 2024 and followed it up with the Vivo X Fold 5 in July 2025. The outgoing model launched at Rs 1,49,999.

If the Vivo X Fold 6 reaches India, buyers can expect it to compete with premium foldables from Samsung, Google and OPPO. Those considering a foldable may want to wait for official pricing and software details, but on paper, the larger battery and upgraded camera hardware could make the X Fold 6 one of the more compelling options in the category.

Vivo S2 spotted on BIS certification site, India launch appears imminent

The Vivo S2 is set to launch in India soon with the first official clues emerging. Here's what to expect from the phone.

[highlights]

The Vivo S2 (model number V2576) has appeared on the BIS certification website.

The smartphone is expected to launch in India in July.

The Vivo S2 could be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000.

[/highlights]

Vivo's long-dormant S-series smartphones could finally be making a comeback in India, as we'd reported earlier. The upcoming Vivo S2 has now been spotted by us on the BIS certification website, marking the first official sign that the company is preparing to launch the device in the country.

The certification comes shortly after our exclusive which revealed that Vivo was planning to revive the S-series nearly seven years after its last India launch. The lineup was last represented by the Vivo S1 in 2019, a budget smartphone priced below Rs 20,000. This time, however, Vivo appears to have much bigger ambitions for the series.

Vivo S2 India launch timeline

The BIS listing, carrying the model number V2576, doesn't reveal any specifications, but it indicates that a launch is drawing closer. Industry sources had previously told us that Vivo is targeting a July launch window for the Vivo S2 in India, and the latest certification aligns with that timeline. The smartphone with the same model number was also reportedly spotted in the GSMA database earlier, suggesting Vivo had already begun regulatory approvals.

Expected pricing

According to previous information shared by industry sources, the Vivo S2 could be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000 in India. If accurate, it would represent a major shift from the original Vivo S1 and place the device in the sub-flagship range, just a segment below Vivo's popular V-series lineup. At this price point, the Vivo S2 would compete against devices such as the OnePlus 15R, iQOO 15R and even Vivo's own V70. The V70 already offers a compact premium design and Zeiss-backed cameras, which means Vivo will need a clear differentiator for the S2.

For buyers, the Vivo S2 could be worth waiting for if photography and design rank higher on the priority list as the company is known to concentrate on both. However, exact specifications remain unknown and it wouldn't be long before we get to know those, either through more certifications or Vivo itself. Those looking for flagship-grade processors or gaming-focused hardware may want to wait for the official announcement before making a purchase decision.

Nothing teases two new products with Pokemons, new phone and earbuds likely on the way

Nothing has kicked off its signature Pokemon campaign for another set of launches and here's what we think they could be.

[highlights]

Nothing has shared new Pokemon-themed teasers featuring Blastoise and Jumpluff.

The Blastoise teaser was also posted by Nothing India, confirming that at least one of the upcoming devices is expected to launch in India.

The teasers could be linked to a new Nothing or CMF smartphone and the Nothing Ear (3a) wireless earbuds.

[/highlights]

In classic Nothing fashion, the company has kicked off another round of its trademark teaser campaign, using Pokemons to hint at upcoming products. The company has shared images of Pokemons Blastoise and Jumpluff in its signature dot-matrix style, suggesting that at least two new devices are on the way. The company's internal codenames for products are Pokemon characters, and every new launch is teased with that particular Pokemon.

While Nothing has not confirmed what the teasers refer to, a new smartphone and a pair of wireless earbuds could be on the way as per market speculation. Interestingly, Nothing India has also shared the Blastoise teaser, indicating that at least one of the upcoming products is expected to launch in the country.

Upcoming Nothing/CMF phone

The Blastoise teaser has sparked speculation that Nothing is preparing to launch a new smartphone. The Pokemon is known for its power and durability, so maybe nothing could be looking at launching a phone that is performance-focused. One possibility is a successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which has been notably absent from Nothing's launch calendar this year. There have been leaks associated with the CMF Phone 3 Pro too, suggesting it could feature upgraded materials, a metal frame, a redesigned camera module inspired by the Nothing Phone series, and a Qualcomm chipset. A larger 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging support has also been rumoured. However, a tipster earlier suggested it could launch around August.

There is another theory. Since the Blastoise teaser was posted by Nothing India rather than CMF by Nothing, some reports suggest it could represent an entirely different Nothing-branded smartphone instead of a CMF device. Either way, the teaser suggests that Nothing is continuing to expand its portfolio.

Nothing Ear (3a) also coming?

The Jumpluff teaser appears more likely to be linked to an audio product. Recent leaks have pointed to the launch of the Nothing Ear (3a), a successor to the Nothing Ear (a). The earbuds are tipped to offer features including 11 mm dynamic drivers, active noise cancellation, spatial audio, LDAC support and custom EQ controls. They are also expected to retain Nothing's transparent design language that has helped its products stand out. The pricing of the device has been leaked to be EUR 99 (around Rs 10,700).

Nothing appears to be preparing launches across both smartphones and audio categories. The company has built a reputation for combining distinctive design with competitive pricing, so upcoming announcements will likely be worth watching if you're considering a new phone or pair of earbuds in the coming months. Keep reading this space for more updates.

OPPO Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16 and Reno 16F global launch officially confirmed

[highlights]

The OPPO Reno 16 lineup has three phones.

OPPO is launching the Reno 16 series in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The lineup is expected to launch in India as well.

[/highlights]

OPPO has officially kicked off the global launch of the Reno 16 series after launching it in China last month. The Reno 16 lineup is scheduled to launch in Indonesia on July 3rd and in Malaysia on July 8th. Details about the Reno 16 series are available on dedicated microsites of OPPO's Malaysia and Indonesia websites. The upcoming phones are also teased with K-Pop group Baby Monster. OPPO is tipped to launch the Reno 16 lineup in India as well, with the Reno 15F rebranded as Reno 16c here.

OPPO Reno 16 series global launch details

According to official teasers shared by OPPO, the lineup will include three phones: Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16F. All three phones are releasing in Malaysia and Indonesia, with pre-orders already live in both markets. The Reno 16 will be available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants and in Pop White and Twilight Violet colours. The Reno 16 Pro comes in a single 12GB + 512GB variant with two colour options of Pop White and Starlight Black.

The Reno 16F will launch as the most affordable one in the lineup, and in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. This handset will have peppy colour options, including Dream Purple, Pop White, and Twilight Violet.

OPPO is also offering special Baby Monster gifts with the purchase of the Reno 16 series in these markets. In addition to the phones, OPPO is also launching the Bubble accessory, which is a small display that can be attached to the back of the Reno 16 series. The OPPO Enco Air 5 and Air 5s will be launched as well.

OPPO Reno 16 series: what to expect

The Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16 are tipped to feature a compact 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The 144Hz refresh rate means smoother scrolling and gaming for avid mobile gamers. The Pro model could get MediaTek Dimensity 8550, while the vanilla model gets the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Battery capacities could be different, too, as the Reno 16 Pro is tipped to house a 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno 16 carries a 6,000mAh battery. While the battery capacities should be enough for regular usage, there are rivals offering larger capacities, even beyond 7,000mAh.

Both phones could also feature a 200MP primary camera and a 3.5x telephoto lens. This camera setup would give the Reno 16 series an edge over rivals, especially with the telephoto lens. With these specs, the Reno 16 series would possibly compete with the Vivo S60 series.

The Reno 16F, on the other hand, is expected to feature a bigger 6.57-inch display, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens. It's tipped to house a 6,500mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging support.

Based on these leaked details, the Reno 16 Pro will be the premium option targeting users seeking a flagship-style photography experience in a compact form factor, while the Reno 16 looks positioned as a balanced all-rounder with premium cameras and a more mainstream chipset. The Reno 16 FS would be the affordable alternative, offering a reliable battery life and telephoto photography at a more accessible price point.

If you currently own a Reno 15 series, wait for reviews to see if the upgrades are worth it. But if you're planning to upgrade to a new mid-range phone, the Reno 16 could be worth going for, depending on your priorities.

Hisense launches E8S Mini-LED TV series in India starting at Rs 57,990: check price, specifications

Hisense has launched the E8S Mini-LED TV series in India, starting at ₹57,990 for the 55-inch model with a 144Hz display and Devialet-tuned sound.

[highlights]

Hisense has launched the E8S ULED Mini-LED TV series in India.

The TV series brings a 144Hz display, ideal for gaming.

The 55-inch model starts at Rs 57,990.

[/highlights]

Hisense has launched the E8S ULED Mini-LED TV series in India, expanding its premium TV range for online buyers. The new lineup targets users who want higher picture quality, gaming-friendly features and better sound without moving into the premium price bracket. So, let's take a closer look at the new lineup and its key features.

Hisense E8S Mini-LED series: features, specifications

The E8S series uses Hisense's Mini-LED display technology with full-array local dimming, which helps the TV produce deeper blacks, stronger contrast and better detail in dark scenes. Hisense also says the TVs use Hi-QLED Colour and enhanced brightness, which should make colours look richer and more natural in movies, sports and games.

The TVs come with a native 144Hz refresh rate, which should make motion look smoother in fast-moving content and gaming. That is one of the biggest draws here, especially for buyers who want a premium TV that can also handle next-gen consoles more comfortably.

Hisense has also added its Hi-View AI Engine to adjust picture quality in real time. The 85-inch model gets the Hi-View AI Engine Pro, which should help sharpen clarity and detail even further.

Sound is another focus. The E8S series includes a built-in subwoofer tuned by Devialet, which should give the TV deeper bass and fuller sound without needing a separate soundbar right away.

The TVs run on VIDAA Smart OS, which should make navigation quick and simple. Hisense has also added HDR10+ Adaptive, Dolby Vision IQ, Filmmaker Mode, Pantone Validated colour, an AI RGB light sensor and hands-free voice control, all of which are meant to make the TV easier to use and better suited to different rooms and viewing conditions.

Where does the new series fit?

The Hisense E8S ULED Mini-LED TV series starts at Rs 57,990 for the 55-inch model. It will be sold exclusively online through Amazon and Flipkart, with the larger 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch variants also joining the line-up. Hisense is also offering launch benefits such as no-cost EMI options of up to 18 months and early-buyer discounts.

At Rs 57,990 for the 55-inch model, the Hisense E8S sits in a competitive price band where buyers also have options from Lumio, Samsung and LG. Lumio's 55-inch Vision 9 is cheaper at Rs 44,999, so it may appeal more to value-focused buyers who still want Mini-LED features.

Samsung and LG, on the other hand, usually cost more in this size range, but they have more brand trust and more familiar smart TV platforms. That means the E8S is being positioned in the middle, more premium than budget Mini-LED TVs but still cheaper than many big-brand alternatives.

Hisense sweetens the deal with extra features like the 144Hz display and Devialet-tuned sound, which should help it become distinctive enough for buyers who want better gaming performance without paying a more premium price.

Alleged OnePlus N6 appears on Geekbench ahead of India launch, MediaTek 6-series chipset tipped

A OnePlus phone, alleged to be the OnePlus N6, has surfaced on Geekbench and here are the performance results.

[highlights]

The OnePlus N6 has allegedly been spotted on Geekbench with a MediaTek chipset.

The benchmark listing shows scores of 788 in the single-core test and 1,993 in the multi-core test.

OnePlus has confirmed that the N6 will launch in India on June 30th.

[/highlights]

OnePlus is gearing up to expand its portfolio in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6 on June 30th. Coming as a new entry-level offering, the device has now allegedly surfaced on the Geekbench platform, giving us an early look at some of its core specifications related to performance.

The OnePlus N6 is expected to sit in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment, which OnePlus exited for a short while by raising prices of the Nord CE 6 Lite.

OnePlus N6 specifications revealed on Geekbench

An unannounced OnePlus smartphone carrying the model number CPH2955 has appeared on Geekbench, according to a report by Gadgets360. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the model number belongs to the upcoming OnePlus N6. The listing reveals an octa-core MediaTek MT6835 chipset, which is believed to be either the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6100+ processor. The chip is paired with 5.49GB of RAM, which will likely be marketed as 6GB RAM.

The processor configuration includes six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz and two performance cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz. The listing also points to an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and Android 16 out of the box, likely running OxygenOS 16 software. The phone achieved 788 points in the single-core test and 1,993 points in the multi-core benchmark. These scores suggest performance in line with other affordable smartphones powered by MediaTek's entry-level 5G chipsets.

While these numbers may not rival devices powered by the Snapdragon 7-series or Dimensity 7000-series chips, they should be sufficient for daily tasks, social media, video streaming and casual gaming. The listing suggests that OnePlus is focusing on battery life and everyday performance rather than chasing benchmark records. The company has revealed the battery capacity to be 8,000mAh, which suggests the USP could be endurance. OnePlus claims the battery can deliver up to three days of usage and maintain healthy performance for up to seven years.

OnePlus N6 India launch and expected price

OnePlus has already confirmed that the N6 will launch in India on June 30th at 12 PM IST. The smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 25,000, placing it against rivals such as the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, Realme P4 lineup, POCO M-series devices and Redmi 15.

While the company has recently increased prices on several Nord phones, the N6 appears designed to strengthen its presence in the affordable segment and attract first-time OnePlus buyers. The biggest question now is whether the large battery and OxygenOS experience can outweigh the relatively modest processor. If OnePlus manages aggressive pricing closer to the lower end of the expected range, the N6 could become an appealing option for users who prioritise battery life over raw performance.

[Exclusive] OPPO Reno 16c to launch in India alongside Reno 16

[highlights]

The Reno 16c is tipped to feature similar specs to the Reno 16F.

It would succeed the Reno 15c.

The handset will offer a larger display than the Reno 16.

[/highlights]

OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 16 series globally soon. The Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro recently debuted in China, and now the lineup is slated to launch in global markets. In addition to the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro, another model is tipped to launch globally, dubbed Reno 16 FS or Reno 16F. In India, OPPO is tipped to launch the Reno 16 series in July, and now 91mobiles has received new information about a Reno 16c launching too. This smartphone will share similar specifications with the Reno 16F.

OPPO Reno 16c India launch details

According to information shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, OPPO is bringing the Reno 16 and Reno 16c smartphones to India. We already know about the Reno 16, so the 16c would be a new addition to the lineup. Not entirely new, though, as the Reno 15 lineup also has a Reno 15c model, which is the most affordable one in the series.

The OPPO Reno 15c in India is said to share similar specifications with the Reno 16F. It would also be bigger in size compared to the Reno 16, which has a compact 6.32-inch display.

Since we had already leaked the Reno 16F's specifications, it gives us an idea of what to expect from the Reno 16c. The handset could feature a larger 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The rear camera setup is said to include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP selfie camera is tipped as well. The Reno 16c may house a 6,500mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging. Instead of using an aluminium frame like the Reno 16, the 16c could launch with a plastic one. The handset is also expected to come with an IP69 protection, stereo speakers, and NFC.

OPPO may follow a similar strategy with the Reno 16 series as it did with the Reno 15 lineup for India. This is launching the Reno 16c as an affordable alternative to the pricier Reno 15 but with a larger display and slightly weaker specs. But if the leak stays true, the Reno 16c could bring upgraded cameras over the Reno 15c, especially with the 3.5x telephoto lens.

Based on the details so far, the Reno 16c is shaping up to be a capable mid-range phone with versatile cameras, dependable performance, and a sizeable battery. If these are your priorities, then the Reno 16c could be worth waiting for. But we should still wait for official details and reviews to see how it compares to the Reno 15 lineup, especially in terms of upgrades.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 prices increased again following recent OnePlus 15 and Nord CE 6 Lite hikes

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 has gotten another price hike and is now dearer by Rs 2,000. Here's more.

[highlights]

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 has received another Rs 2,000 price hike in India.

This is the second price increase since launch, taking both variants Rs 4,000 above their original launch prices.

OnePlus is currently offering a Rs 2,000 instant discount on the Nord CE 6 on their website.

[/highlights]

OnePlus has quietly increased the price of the Nord CE 6 in India for the second time since the phone's launch, continuing a trend of post-launch price revisions that has affected several devices across brands. The latest increase comes just days after the company raised prices of the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite, and announced the launch of the OnePlus N6 in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 new prices

The revised prices are already live on the OnePlus website. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage now costs Rs 33,999, up from Rs 31,999 previously. The 8GB + 256GB variant has also gone up to Rs 36,999 from Rs 34,999.

Variant

Launch Price

1st hike

Latest price

8GB + 128GB

Rs 29,999

Rs 31,999

Rs 33,999

8GB + 256GB

Rs 32,999

Rs 34,999

Rs 36,999

This marks the second price revision for the smartphone. When the device launched earlier this year, the 8GB + 128GB model was priced at Rs 29,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version cost Rs 32,999. With the latest increase, both variants are now Rs 4,000 more expensive than their launch prices.

Should you buy the OnePlus Nord CE 6?

Despite the higher pricing, the Nord CE 6 remains a well-rounded option in the premium mid-range segment. It offers a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, a large 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a 50MP primary camera with OIS. OnePlus has also equipped the phone with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, making it one of the most durable devices in its class.

That said, buyers should factor in the recent price hikes. At nearly Rs 34,000, the base variant now sits closer to alternatives like the Redmi Turbo 5 and POCO X8 Pro, which are known for their performance. However, both come with smaller batteries than the Nord CE 6, so if endurance is your concern, the OnePlus could be the stronger pick. However, do note that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion boasts of the same processor but comes at a lower price than the Nord CE 6.

For buyers who value battery life, durability and software support, the Nord CE 6 still makes a strong case. However, with prices steadily rising across the industry, it may be worth acting sooner rather than later if this phone is already on your shortlist.
