Flipkart cancels Galaxy S23 Ultra orders

The offer on Flipkart was for debit and credit card transactions that would get you a discount of Rs 25,000. According to screenshots on Twitter, this discount was on the 256GB variant of the Galaxy S23 Ultra that was selling for Rs 99,999 on Flipkart. So after the discount, the price came down to Rs 74,999, which is the lowest ever for the Ultra variant, and even the lowest among all three models. 

But it looks like people who claimed this offer are now getting their orders cancelled. Another screenshot shared showing that the order has been cancelled. Flipkart is even giving users an explanation about the cancelled order saying that it was a mistake as the seller mistakenly listed the price. 

To compensate customers who made the order, Flipkart is offering a gift card worth Rs 2,000, and those who made any payments will be refunded. The offer in itself seemed too good to be true, and it was also not part of any major sale on Flipkart.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is a year old now but it’s unlikely to see the price drop so low for Samsung’s flagship models. So it’s understandable that people got excited and rushed to claim the discount.
