Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to be priced below Rs 1 lakh in Amazon Great Summer Sale; early access starts May 5th
Samsung is giving a lucrative discount on the price of its outgoing flagship during the Amazon Great Summer Sale, and the deal is difficult to ignore. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available at Rs 94,999 with 12 months no-cost EMI, starting May 5th at 12 noon for early access users.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra launched at Rs 1,29,999 in January 2025, and has mostly stayed around Rs 1.2 lakh in retail since. This is the first time it’s dropping below Rs 1 lakh officially without exchange offers. The EMI works out to roughly Rs 7,900 a month, which makes it accessible for a lot more people.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra key features and specifications
Buyers could be hit with the familiar question of whether it’s worth getting a phone at that price which is over a year old. However, the spec sheet of the Galaxy S25 Ultra still makes a compelling case. The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is a flagship processor. The screen is a 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness. The camera system comprising a 200MP main, 3x and 5x zoom, plus ultrawide gives the phone more flexibility than most you’ll find under Rs 1 lakh.
The S Pen remains a niche feature, but for people who use it, it’s a huge plus. Samsung is still the only brand doing this at scale. Add to that the seven-year update promise, and this isn’t a phone that feels close to being phased out.
However, battery and charging are the obvious gaps. 5,000mAh and 45W charging are now average at best in this price range, especially when some newer phones are pushing faster speeds and larger batteries. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s also not a strength.
Galaxy S25 Ultra vs Galaxy S26 Ultra
The newer Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra starts at Rs 1,39,999. So you’re looking at roughly a Rs 45,000 difference. What you get for that extra money is newer silicon and some tuning around cameras and efficiency. The overall feel of the phone doesn’t change. The display, the way the camera system works across zoom levels, and the S Pen, all of that is already there on the S25 Ultra.
At Rs 94,999, the S25 Ultra is now competing with lower end flagships from Xiaomi. OPPO and Vivo. While those will beat the Ultra on battery sizes or performance in some cases, but they usually don’t match the overall package of camera range, software support, ecosystem integration and S Pen in one device.
At this price, the S25 Ultra makes more sense than it did at launch. You’re getting a full flagship setup without paying current flagship prices. The S26 Ultra is still the newer phone. But whether that matters enough to spend an extra Rs 45,000 depends on how much you value being on the latest hardware cycle. For most people, the S25 Ultra at this price will already cover what they need from a premium phone.
