Tecno is planning to enter the laptop market in India this year with the MEGABOOK-S1 and MEGABOOK-T1 laptops. The brand confirmed to 91mobiles on the sidelines of MWC 2023. The company is also planning to launch its foldable smartphone, the Phantom V Fold, globally at MWC 2023 on Tuesday, February 28th. Tecno unveiled the MEGABOOK-T1 and MEGABOOK-S1 late last year in IFA Berlin and Dubai, respectively. The laptops tout a lightweight design, up to 16GB RAM with Intel Core i7 processors, and long-lasting battery life, among other things.

Tecno plans to launch the MEGABOOK-T1 in India by June-July, while the MEGABOOK-S1 arrives later in the year or in the first quarter of 2024. Tecno MEGABOOK-S1 and MEGABOOK-T1 specifications, features
The Tecno MEGABOOK-S1 features a 15.6-inch 3.2K IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, and up to 450nits peak brightness. It is powered by Intel 13th generation i5 and i7 processors backed by 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The laptop comes equipped with a 6-Speaker Matrix sounds system that includes 4 woofers and 2 tweeters.
There’s a 2MP Smart AI camera for video calls and a camera privacy shutter as well. The laptop houses a 70Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging. Connectivity options onboard include one HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.1, one USB 4.0, one USB-C, one TF card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.
Coming to the MEGABOOK-T1, you get two screen sizes: 14-inch and 15.6-inch. They are IPS displays with FHD resolutions and 100% sRGB support. The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs paired with either 8GB or 16GB RAM. The laptop is offered with either 512GB or 1TB storage options.
The MEGABOOK-T1 2023 supports Wi-Fi 6 and touts a lightweight build, weighing just 1.39kg. There’s a 2MP camera onboard as well as a fingerprint sensor. The laptop promises up to 18 hours of battery life with a 75Wh unit.
