Tecno Phantom V: what we know so far
According to the leaked data, the Tecno Phantom V smartphone is expected to come with a ‘reverse snap structure’ in its hinge design — a feature that an anonymous industry source mentioned according to a report by Gizmochina. It is not clear exactly how this hinge would function, or how it would fundamentally differ from the ones that we have so far seen from the likes of Samsung and Oppo. However, the report claims that this structure, coupled with the use of aerospace-grade material in the overall chassis of the smartphone, will help it improve the ‘structural stability’ and durability of the device.

The leaked image also reveals a circular camera module at the rear of the purported foldable smartphone, with three lenses that are visible. The Tecno Phantom V is said to feature five total cameras, so at the moment, it is unclear as to how this would pan out — a fourth camera is likely to be a selfie shooter within the folded display, while the fifth one might sit on the outer folding, to take selfies when the device is folded.
Not much else is as yet known about the device, apart from the fact that the Tecno Phantom V is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC. More details should surface soon as the launch event nears, so stay tuned to 91mobiles.
