Vivo X Fold is set to debut on April 11th alongside the Vivo Pad—Vivo’s first tablet. Vivo has shared teasers of the device, revealing the design and specification of the handset ahead of the launch. The company has shared the teasers via weibo. The Vivo X Fold features an inward folding design, similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Vivo X Fold renders

The Vivo X Fold has a textured leather finish and Vivo branding at the back. The official renders show a circular quad-camera layout at the back alongside a LED flash housed on a square island. The device has an inward folding screen at the front. Vivo X Fold has an alert slide on the right and a power button paired with the volume rocker on the left. It has a microphone, a bottom-firing speaker, and a USB Type-C port for charging at the bottom. Vivo X Fold comes in blue, crimson, and orange colour options in China.

Vivo X Fold specifications

Vivo X Fold has been tipped to feature a 6.53-inch AMOLED E5 foldable display with 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone draws power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. It is said to pack a 4,600mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

Moving to the optics, Vivo X Fold is expected to feature a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 48MP ultra-wide lens. The other two sensors are tipped to be a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and an 8MP periscope telephoto shooter. The front camera is housed in a centre punch-hole cutout.
