Vivo’s in-between sub-flagship, the Vivo X200T could be landing in India sooner than we thought. A fresh leak from tipster Yogesh Brar via Smartprix suggests the phone may launch towards the end of January, possibly between January 26th and 31st. Vivo hasn’t said anything officially yet, but recent certification sightings make it feel like the announcement could happen any day now.
If the leak is accurate, pricing will be one of the more interesting aspects. The Vivo X200T is tipped to cost between Rs 50,000 and Rs 55,000, placing it squarely in the entry-level flagship segment. At launch, the phone is expected to be available in at least two colours: Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac.
What also makes the X200T stand out is its naming. Vivo’s X series has so far included models like the X300, X300 Pro, X200 Ultra, X200s, X200 Pro Mini, and even the smaller X200 FE, but none of them have carried a ‘T’ suffix. Vivo does have a separate T-series, but that usually sits much lower in the lineup. If these leaks hold up, the X200T would be the first time Vivo brings the ‘T’ branding into its flagship X family. It’s not expected to be a direct successor to any one model, but rather something designed to sit in between existing options.

That positioning lines up with reports suggesting the X200T could be a rebranded version of the Vivo X200 FE, which launched in India in July 2025. The FE started at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and went up to Rs 59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model. If Vivo does manage to price the X200T a little lower while keeping most of the core hardware the same, it could appeal to buyers who liked the FE but found it slightly expensive.
In terms of hardware, the phone is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Cameras are likely to be a strong focus, with a Zeiss-tuned triple 50MP rear setup aimed at accurate colours and good portrait performance. There’s still some uncertainty around the chipset. Earlier leaks pointed to a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series processor, while newer information suggests the more powerful Dimensity 9400+. Either way, performance should comfortably sit in flagship territory. The phone is also tipped to include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, vapour chamber cooling, and fast charging support of up to 90W wired and 40W wireless.
The Vivo X200T has already shown up on India’s BIS website with the model number V2561, adding weight to the late-January launch talk. At around Rs 50,000, it would go up against phones like the next OnePlus 15R, Vivo’s own V-series and upcoming models from OPPO’s Reno15 series. For buyers who care about camera quality and fast charging, the X200T is shaping up to be one to watch, though Vivo’s final pricing will decide how compelling it is.
