The Vivo X300 (review) and X300 Pro (review) both arrived in India with the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit, a premium 200mm lens designed for professional photographers seeking extreme long-range photography. In March, the brand also showcased the X300 Ultra with a 400mm extender kit at MWC in Barcelona. 91mobiles can now confirm that the Vivo X300 FE will also come with a 200mm ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit. Vivo is gearing up to bring the X300 FE to India, and a recent report suggests a May launch is on the cards.
Vivo X300 FE ZEISS Extender Kit details
Close industry sources have confirmed to 91mobiles that the X300 FE will come with the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit, which will be sold separately. We have learned that this extender kit, which attaches to the X300 FE’s telephoto lens via a dedicated case, can extend the X300 FE’s zoom by 2.35x, delivering 200mm of optical zoom and up to 1600mm of focal length.

We can also confirm that the Vivo X300 FE will feature a ZEISS 50MP telephoto camera. Additionally, the phone will feature a suite of AI portrait modes that, when combined with the extender kit, should deliver impressive portrait capabilities. While we don’t know the price of the upcoming Vivo X300 FE yet, it seems Vivo’s ambitions are to take on the likes of the iPhone 17 and Samsung Galaxy S26 in the flagship space. We expect the phone to be priced below the X300, which currently retails for around Rs 75,000.
Vivo X300 FE India launch details: story so far
Vivo X300 FE is expected to launch in India in early May, according to a recent report. Vivo has yet to officially tease the phone’s launch, but we expect that to happen soon, given the frequency of reports. In addition to its launch timeline, we also got our first look at the Vivo X300 FE in green, an exclusive colour option for India.

It is speculated that the Vivo X300 FE is similar to the Vivo S50 Pro Mini in China. If true, this would mean the X300 FE is a compact flagship with a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone should get Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. To recall, the X300 and X300 Pro in India are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500.
The ZEISS-backed triple-camera system could include a 50MP telephoto lens, a 50MP primary sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The X300 FE might pack a 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
The FE in X300 FE stands for Fashion Edition, likely because of the design language, which is quite unlike that of previous X series phones we’ve seen. The X300 FE will tout a compact, slim form factor with an iPhone Air-like horizontal camera system.
With a ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit, a compact flagship form factor, and a unique new design language for a Vivo phone, the Vivo X300 FE is shaping up to be one of the more interesting flagship launches of the first half of 2025. We’ll have more details as the May launch window approaches. Stay tuned to 91mobiles for the latest.
