Vivo’s latest flagships, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, have gone on sale across India starting today after their launch on December 2nd. The phones are available through Flipkart, Amazon, Vivo’s online store, and major offline retailers.

As part of the introductory offer, Vivo is offering a number of benefits including a 10 percent cashback on select bank cards, up to 24 months no-cost EMI, exchange bonus, and one-year extended warranty. Buyers can also get the Vivo TWS 3e earphones at Rs 1,499 and avail 70 percent discount on V-Shield protection. For photography enthusiasts, the new Vivo-Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit, priced at Rs 18,999, carries a Rs 4,000 bundle discount and up to 10 percent additional cashback when purchased along with the phones.

Jio Unlimited 5G users buying X300 series also get 18 months of Google Gemini Pro plan worth Rs 35,100, which includes 2,000GB cloud storage and early access to the latest AI and generative image and video tools by Google.

The Vivo X300 starts at Rs 75,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and feels like Vivo’s all-rounder in its new compact form. It has a bright 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, a 6,040mAh battery with 90W charging and an ambitious camera setup for the size — a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP 3x telephoto. Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro pack the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is found on the OPPO Find X9 series.

When you compare the X300 to its closest rivals based on price  the Realme GT 8 Pro, OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15 — the differences become clearer. The phones lean on raw performance (thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets), higher peak brightness and larger batteries. Where the X300 pulls ahead is imaging. Its 200MP main camera and Zeiss tuning give it more flexibility for everyday photography than the performance-first rivals. While Realme, iQOO and OnePlus may be stronger for power users or gamers, the X300 feels designed for people who prioritise consistent images, colour accuracy and comfort in hand.

The X300 Pro, priced at Rs 1,09,999 for 16GB + 512GB, brings a larger display, a bigger 6,510mAh battery and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The OPPO Find X9 Pro, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Google Pixel 10 Pro all sit in this bracket. OPPO continues to push strong hardware with Hasselblad tuning, while Samsung brings polished software, a 200MP main camera, and reliable long-term updates. Google still leads in portraits, low light, and AI-driven photography. Where the Vivo X300 Pro (review) gains the upper hand is telephoto reach. The 200MP periscope lens gives it some of the cleanest long-range shots in this price band, and when you pair that with a 6,510mAh battery and 90W fast charging, it becomes a strong option for users who travel, shoot outdoors, or simply want a flagship that still lasts comfortably through the day.

If you want a compact flagship with good battery life and a better camera system than most at its price, the Vivo X300 is ideal for you. Competing against Realme, OnePlus and iQOO, it may not win every benchmark, but it almost invariably wins on camera consistency. The Vivo X300 Pro targets those who value zoom performance and camera versatility the most, and that’s an area where it really is ahead of the Find X9 Pro, S25 Edge, and Pixel 10 Pro on hardware – even if those phones do hold their advantage when it comes to software and longer update support. If photography is more important, the X300 series makes a convincing case, but if you value performance tuning and gaming, the alternatives remain just as valid.
