ZEE5 subscription plans 2023: Price in India, benefits, validity, and more

ZEE5 is a home-grown video streaming service that offers a mix of originals, shows, music, and movies in 12 languages and has a bespoke catalogue of premium content for audiences across India. The platform, managed by Essel Group, also leverages its partnership with ALTBalaji whose originals, shows, and movies are available for free to ZEE5 subscribers. That said, most of the content, if not all, is paid and restricted to only ZEE5’s premium users. The streaming service premium subscription plans were recently revised in the country. Best ZEE5 subscription plans

ZEE5 subscription plans are now available in three tiers, namely mobile, premium HD and premium 4k. These plans comprise all ZEE5 originals and exclusives, blockbuster movies, ALT Balaji shows, Zindagi TV shows, Kids, Live TV, and TV shows before the telecast. The new ZEE5 plans differ in terms of screen, resolution, and price. Here’s how much each plan costs:

Rs 399 Zee5 Mobile plan

The cheapest ZEE5 subscription plan with yearly validity. The plan costs Rs 399 and comes with a validity of 12 months. The monthly cost of this plan would be roughly around ~Rs 33.25/ month. The plan supports one mobile screen with a maximum video quality output of 720p.

Rs 599 Zee5 Premium HD plan

The yearly ZEE5 Premium subscription is priced in India at Rs 999; however, with a limited period offer, it’s currently available at Rs 599 (Rs 49.91/ month). Users purchasing this plan can enjoy content in 1080p resolution with Dolby 5.1 sound output. The subscription will be valid for 12 months and supports two screens at a time.

Rs 1499 Zee5 Premium 4K plan

The Rs 1499 premium 4K plan brings all the benefits of the Rs 599 plan but bumps up the video resolution to 4K and supports a total of four screens simultaneously. The validity of the plan remains the same at 12 months.

The ZEE5 mobile app is available on the web, Android, iOS, and smart TVs, among other devices. You can stream select content on the platform for free; however, ZEE5 exclusive TV shows and movies are behind a paywall.
