Verdict
The Xiaomi 17 is a well-rounded, compact smartphone that delivers on most fronts. The cameras are impressive, the chipset is capable, and the display and speakers both do a great job. It works well as both a lifestyle phone and a camera-focused flagship. The limitations are few but worth noting: the telephoto zoom range is comparatively modest, there are some minor software bugs, and the price is quite a bit higher than rivals that offer a similar experience.
