Its a black beauty. Having used it for around 5 hours, I am giving my perceptions: nOverall a great product. I would recommend it.. nPros:n- Best thing I liked is the crisp screen and GPS.. Although not mentioned, it looks like IPS display and not LCD. Viewing angles are good. Colours are vibrant.n- Touch is quite responsive. Feels like gliding on velvet and not on glass. But sometimes does not recognize touches.n- Processing speed is fluid and waiting for your inputn- The handset itself is feather like, but becomes heavy with 1.9 ah battery, but does not really pull your pockets down.n- Battery lingers when no usage at same percent.. but drops on heavy usage (not unexpected).n- 5mp auto focus works well.. even at night.. the selfie is not great, but not bad for a 0.3mp.n- GPS is good. At first I thought its just A-GPS, but it really has a GPS chip. It caught a fix even with two floors above me, something I never experienced before with other phones. I roamed around a bit, I can see second by second update.n- Comes with screen guard and a good flip cover, but phone looks good either way, better without the flip cover.n- Call quality is good. As good as with my Samsung.n- Tried Subway surfers, and other games.. Great colours and response.n- Haven't tried Videos, but assume should be good also (am not a movie watcher).n- Processing speed is quite good.n- Android has more features and settings, but this phone is faster I think. I have another quad core 1GB android based tab (Lenovo A7-30). But then, this is my first Windows phone. nCons:n- Slightly gets heated on heavy usage (could be my imagination), but does not burn your pocket (really :-))nnOf course, it does not have Gorilla glass and glossy finish, but can't expect for this price. nnI was eyeing the Lumia 530 before this, which is only a few hundred rupees more, and micromax 121, but I bought it soon after I saw this. I am giving below the differences below: nLumia has 512mb ram, this has 1gbnLumia has fixed focus camera, this has auto focusnLumia has no LED flashnLumia has no front cameranLumia has more pre-installed software, this has less.nLumia has 4GB rom, this has 8GBnLumia has 1.4ah battery, this has 1.9ahnLumia is probably less heavier, but bulkier in dimensions nnMicromax 121 has almost same features as this, but has a 5in screen. nnIf there is anything more I will come back after prolonged usage.
Booked on launch for my DAD,received next day. I have to say that I had my fair share of suspicions about product but was surprised to see such crisp screen and a decent build for a 5K mobile! No lags whatsoever!!..Camera is good and package comes with screen guard as it doesn't has any protection. IEM given are below par,But hey!!! Who is complaining??? Also mind that it will get Win10 update on its release...Will edit if any problem arises..Until then buy it with no doubt!!
