Airtel Payments Bank smartwatch price

The new Airtel Payments Bank smartwatch is now selling for Rs 2,999 in India and is available in Grey, Blue, and Black colours. Customers who already have a savings account with Airtel Payments Bank can buy the smartwatch through the Airtel Thanks App.

How it works

New bank customers can easily order the smartwatch by digitally opening a bank account through the Airtel Thanks App. Afterwards, they can activate the watch by linking it to their savings account via the same app in just one minute.

Once the watch is connected, users can initiate payments by tapping it on Point of Sale (POS) machines that have the Tap and Pay functionality. Customers can make payments ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 25,000 per day using the Airtel Payments Bank smartwatch.

The NFC chip in the smartwatch, backed by the Mastercard network, will enable users to expand the functionality of their wearable device. With NFC technology, the smartwatch can facilitate contactless payments at retail stores, POS terminals, and other payment points.

Airtel Payments Bank smartwatch features

The Airtel Payments Bank smartwatch has a 1.85-inch square LCD display with 550 nits peak brightness. It provides access to a collection of 150 cloud-based watch faces and supports 130 different sports modes. The smartwatch is equipped with Bluetooth calling capability and boasts a battery life of up to 10 days.

The newly launched smartwatch has an IP68 water resistance rating, making it durable against water exposure. Additionally, it includes a Stress Monitor feature for effective stress level tracking and management. The smartwatch also features SpO2 Monitoring for monitoring blood oxygen saturation levels.
