HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the launch of either the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design in India. It is worth noting that these phones were launched in China earlier this week and come at a starting price of CNY 6,999 (around Rs 81,837) and CNY 9,999 (approx Rs 1,15,320), respectively. Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition, Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design teased to launch in India
Through X (formerly Twitter), HTech CEO Madhav Sheth hinted at the arrival of the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design in India. He shared images of both smartphones and asked users to vote for their preferred choice to be launched in the country.
The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate has a square camera island, while the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design has a hexagonal camera setup on the back. The Ultimate version comes with a vegan leather backplate with a vertical line for grip, while the Porsche Design model has a glass hexagonal camera island.
The Porsche Design variant also features a new dual-layer OLED Tandem Display, which the company claims is designed to extend the screen’s lifespan by up to 600 percent. However, despite several differences, both phones largely share their internal components with the regular Honor Magic 6 Pro.
Honor Magic 6 price in China, specifications
The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition is available in two variants – 16GB+512GB priced at CNY 6,999 (around Rs 81,837) and 16GB+1TB priced at CNY 7,699 (approx Rs 88,793). It has been introduced in Sky Purple and Ink Black colours.
Meanwhile, the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is priced at CNY 9,999 (around Rs 1,15,320) and will be available in Iceberry Pink and Agate Gray colours.
The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design come with a 6.8-inch full HD+ LTPO OLED display featuring a refresh rate varying from 1Hz to 120Hz. Under the hood, both models are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The phones come with a triple rear camera system, led by a 180MP OIS periscope telephoto camera. The setup includes a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, both models feature a 50MP wide-angle camera along with a 3D depth sensor.
In terms of battery capacity, both models are equipped with a 5600mAh unit, ensuring a long-lasting battery on a single charge. They support rapid charging technology, with 80W wired fast charging support and 66W wireless fast charging.
