Lava O2 India launch date revealed

Lava O2 will launch in India on March 22nd at 12 PM IST.
The handset will be sold exclusively on Amazon and the dedicated microsite has revealed some key specifications.
Lava claims that ‘O2’ will be the fastest phone in its price segment with a score of 2.8L in the AnTuTu benchmarking platform.
The microsite reveals the complete design of the phone.

There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and noticeable bezels around the screen. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge while the SIM tray is on the left edge. We see a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a primary microphone at the bottom. There is a rectangular module on the back to house dual-camera sensors and an LED flash.

Lava O2 confirmed specifications

Processor: The Lava O2 is confirmed to be powered by the Unisoc T616 SoC
RAM/Storage: The chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is extendable RAM support and an expandable microSD card slot.
Display: The handset will sport a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout.

Cameras: The Lava phone will feature a 50MP primary camera on the back. There could be an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The cameras will have support for portrait mode, Night mode, HDR, Intelligent Scanning, slow motion, etc.
OS: Android 13 OS out of the box.
Battery: There will be a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Others: The Lava O2 will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock support. The company is offering a free home support option as well.
