Not much recommended for heavy files.

Overall: Good for daily use and net surfing. Not recomended for heavy file. The most astonishing was the body of laptop is too delicate as compared to my previous experiences of acer.

The Acer Aspire E5-511 (NX.MPLSI.002) is capable of executing only simple business needs with its average processor and RAM. It comes at a decent price and impresses with some quality features like long lasting battery, latest Windows OS, HD webcam and powerful optical drive.

The Acer Aspire E5-511 (NX.MPLSI.002) sports a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit ComfyView TFT LCD Colour display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The 25.3mm thick outfit has a weight of 2.5kg and comes in a red colour which may not be preferred by all. It has a Acer Fine Touch keyboard and a gesture supported touchpad as the input devices.

Processor and OS

At the heart of the machine, there is a 2.6GHz Intel Pentium quad-core N3540 processor belonging to the fourth generation series. It works in combination with a mere 2GB DDR3 RAM which is okay considering its price. You can use the two unused DIMM ports for expanding the RAM's capacity up to 8GB. For better management of rich games and movies, it depends on the integrated Intel HD GPU. It ships with the latest 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS which is easy to use.
