Young Qui-Gon Jinn is voiced by Micheál Richardson, the son of Liam Neeson.
The series started out as fun little ideas that Dave Filoni would think of during his commute to and from "The Mandalorian" set.
Originally, the series was going to show Plo Koon going to Shili to confirm that Ahsoka was a Jedi and a heartbreaking farewell her parents would give her as she left. However, Dave Filoni was very determined to do an episode about Ahsoka and her mother, since there hadn't been that many examples of a mother-daughter relationship in the franchise and upon learning he would only have six episodes, he decided to focus on the mother and daughter.
Yoda appears twice but has no lines due to his voice actor, Tom Kane's retirement after suffering from a stroke.
Shares the same title as a comic book series in the Legends timeline.
