Cortney Palm was asked during an interview why she decided to go topless for this role and her feelings in general on actresses being nude since many feel it can be misogynistic toward women. She said, "The nudity in Zombeavers was there as a joke because there has been so much nudity in horror. I think society makes it an issue because we guard nudity so much. I honestly think by freeing the nipple that maybe there wouldn't be such a need to make a fuss over breasts. The issue is that there are too many people who want to make a fuss over it."
Courtney Palm said in an interview that she was told taking this role would be a bad idea, but she's glad she did. She liked the role of Zoe because she is free-spirited and spunky. She also ended up making lasting friendships with some of the cast and it has led to some great things.
The Backstreet Boys are given a cast credit for playing the ZombieBeaverBear. It isn't clear if it was all of them.
