Xiaomi 13 Ultra: pricing and everything we know
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been tipped to be launched in three RAM and storage variants — with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. According to the Weibo post, the three variants of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be priced at CNY 6,299 (Rs 75,100), CNY 6,799 (Rs 81,100) and CNY 7,499 (Rs 89,500) respectively.
To be sure, the prices appear to be higher than what Xiaomi’s previous ‘Ultra’ flagship was launched at. In July last year, the company introduced the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in China, pegging its pricing at CNY 5,999 (Rs 71,600), CNY 6,499 (Rs 77,500) and CNY 6,999 (Rs 83,500) for 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. This suggests that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra could potentially be around 5 to 7 percent more expensive than its predecessor.
In terms of key expected specifications, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm, along with the above-mentioned RAM and storage options. The device is also expected to house a 6.7-inch quad HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, while there are four 50MP rear cameras that are expected. These will include a primary shooter, an ultra-wide unit, a 2x zoom unit and a periscope telephoto unit, based on rumours. Other aspects include a 32MP front camera, and a 4,900mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
