Airtel 5G rollout
Airtel 5G Plus will roll out across the country by March 2024, as announced by the company. The latest telecom network is said to bolster the entire portfolio of services that Airtel offers. Additionally, the network is claimed to allow super-fast access to HD video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.
The telecom says that 5G will fillip the economic growth of India as well as the network revolutionises education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility and logistics. The company hasn’t announced 5G data packs just yet so customers can continue to use the latest network free of cost, for now. However, do note that Airtel is not offering unlimited data like Jio; instead, the data benefits remain the same as the current plan.
Commenting on the launch, Rajnish Verma, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Assam and North-East said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Guwahati. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”
