Redmi Note 13 series chipset, camera details leaked

• Alleged specifications of one the Redmi Note 13 series devices were shared on X by Kacper Skrzypek who regularly posts updates about MIUI.
• According to Skrzypek, Redmi Note 13 will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, most likely the Dimensity 9200 Plus, which also powers the Redmi K60 Ultra.
• The smartphone is also said to house triple rear cameras including a Samsung HP3 200MP primary sensor, a Sony IMX355 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an Omnivision OV2B10 2MP macro/depth sensor.
• For selfies, the Redmi Note 13 is said to feature a 16MP front camera.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ specifications (Expected)

These specifications are for one of the Redmi Note 13 smartphones. There are at least three models expected — Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Going by previous leaks and reports, it’s most likely the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ since it’s already speculated that this phone will house a 200MP primary camera. The smartphone is also tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is also expected to feature a curved-edge display making it a first for the Redmi Note series. The display will most likely have a 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved display will possibly be exclusive to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, while the Note 13 and 13 Pro will feature flat displays. The phone’s leaked design also shows a punch-hole selfie camera, and Xiaomi 13-like rear camera module.

Xiaomi usually debuts a new Redmi Note series in October if we consider the Redmi Note 12 series launch timeline. So it’s expected to launch the Redmi Note 13 series in October this year but the phones might arrive in India a couple of months later so there’s still plenty of time left. The Redmi Note 12 series launched in India earlier this year in January.
